What do you collect/buy that drives your spouse crazy?

Women from craigs list...really makes the wife angry.

My two main hobbies: Cars and R/C aircraft.

I'm either participating in a car show or flying my planes on the weekends during the offseason.

I used to fly R/C Helicopters. But I never had time (or a place too) once I moved to New York so I sold it. (Raptor 50)

Gotcha. I've been doing fixed wing for about 20 years now, never got into choppers. You should check into E-flite choppers...they are really taking off, pardon the pun. You need a very small amount of space to enjoy it. We have some clubs here locally that fly those in gymnasiums and hangars. There has to be some in New York.

A lot of people, especially the ladies, don't realize just how demanding of a hobby it is (if you want to be good at both building and flying).
 
My car collection drives my wife crazy but I do what I always do to shut her up I give her money. :flagwave:

My uncles just got into RC Helicopters, I was interested till I saw the amount of parts and gear they have to carry around to run them. I'll stick with my one Nitro R/C truck.
 
I don't have a spouse. But if I did. I imagine the head sized packages in the freezer would. :)

I have two of those little electronic helis. We paid about $25 for each one. Those are garbage, but looking at the E-Flite; that might be my answer. (just another hobbie to throw money and that will piss off my wife!) :laugh2:

The gas Helicopters are very expensive too. When I broke into the hobbie, I bought a Raptor 50. The kit, motor, and controller together cost me over $1,200 at the time. Then you smash it into the ground on the first flight and start over! :laugh2:
