Books and guitars! Still looking for a first edition Moby Dick. Just need a spare 40 grand! lol oldest book I have is a Washington Irving first edition with all his short stories. Published in 1845. Worth about 60 bucks! But still a nice addition!

Anyone have a passion for collecting things?

I still have these.
I have about 80 pairs sunglasses and several watches that I've had since HS. Several Rolex watches and a couple of gold framed sunglasses are my prized items. I also have about 3000 football cards from the late 80s and early 90s.

I have a bunch of old Audie Murphy posters from my very dear departed mother-in-law.
One of feeder schools was named after Audie Murphy....I had heard of him but did some research back then and was very impressed! Hero!

I have nothing massive, but I do have a few small collections.
- I try to snag a shot glass from every place I visit. Seems this is a pretty popular idea amongst people.
- I collect Hot Wheels, still, even at my age. :D Had them in my mancave for the longest time, but I wanted a more mature vibe, so I took them all down. Most are put away right now but I'm getting ideas for the garage.
- LPs. Got into vinyl this year and started collecting those. Expensive hobby!! lol I was out of control there for a minute but I've come back down to Earth and I've pulled the throttle back as of recently. I could possibly be victim to it being just a phase, but I am a music lover, so we will see.

I have about 600 45s....my wife bought the jukebox that was at my university student union in the late 80s. She bought it and had it refurbished in 1998. I still have it and it still works. My favorite song is number 188, Brandy.

I also collect Christmas Tree ornaments.

Everytime we travel someplace we look for a place that has Christmas tree ornaments and buy them.

our tree looks pretty awesome every year.

I had over 6000 albums in those old peaches crates. They were stolen and I can not figure out how they moved that much weight to do it. It took 2 people just to rearrange them and several breaks while doing it. Pissed me off. And the surprise was they left the 4000 dollar stereo alone.
