I don't know if the OP is suggesting they take Steele out for someone else but considering that was a UDFA in first start, I thought he held up ok.

These guys are back ups for a reason. Collins is obviously the starter and you have these guys to step in when injuries come up. You cant have what you want at every position, including back ups.

For a back up I think Steele is fine. Give him some help with the TE's and wait on Collins return.

Once you get so many injuries down the depth chart, I I think it becomes less about who you put there and more about how you plan for it.

The offensive scheme has to account for it, and Dak has to be constantly cognizant of the liability there. Almost like stats start to become a QB and Coaching stat.
