The Giants always seem to give us their best game. They truly hate the Cowboys, which is fine. These games seldom follow the expected script.

The Giants defense doesn't look very good. Jacksonville moved the ball against them fairly well, and Bortles is no better then Dak and that's being kind to Bortles. Fournette was gashing them pretty well. Yeldon is a significant drop off from Fournette and the Jags were able to win even after Fournette was injured.

Harrison vs Williams will probably be an unfavorable matchup, but I'm not sure about the rest of their defense. It doesn't seem very strong otherwise.

Offensively, Eli will not hold the ball long. He will be air mailing it after about 2.0 seconds so the pass rush will be hard pressed to get there. I figure Beckham will be good for one TD on a breakdown at some point. He just doesn't need to get 3 TDs.

Barkley will most likely be bottled up the way he was last week. He got most of his yards in one big play. We need to eliminate that one big play from him.

I expect the Giants to have a tough day against our defense. If they manage to move the ball well on offense early it could be a long day.

They are quite simple but difficult to defend without solid corner play.

Barkley run
Sterling on slants, drags, curls
Chuck and a prayer to Beckham for penalty

They are literally the same type of team we are. We are going to hand them the game and they are going to give it right back.
Example

Down 16-13 in the fourth with 2 minutes left they go for it on 4th down we pick it off and the very next play we fumble the snap they recover and drive down the field and miss the fg and we win (this scenario is interchangeable between the two teams)

I literally have no idea what to expect from a Giants/Cowboys game. It's like a separate 1-game season when we play them... very hard to predict what is gonna happen, no matter which team is more talented. And in a way, I like that about these games.

I expect them to sell out on the run. Clog those inside rushing lanes. I expect their offense to hit a few big plays and force the Cowboys to try to keep up by throwing the football.

Challenge accepted. - Dak Prescott

Challenge accepted. - Michael Spinks

Challenge accepted. - Mitch Williams

Challenge accepted. - 85 Patriots

If our coaches draw up screen plays and quick hits along with roll outs and play action they can loosen up that 8 man front

I expect Little Manning to wear his best blank expression before, during and after the game

Yeah. That's the game plan they will use.

A Giants victory. That's what I expect.

I am curious about your honest assessment of the following:

1. How do you feel about the Giant's OL?
2. Has Eli already fallen off the performance cliff?
3. Outside of Harrison, do you see any favorable Giants defensive players who you expect will have a favorable matchup today?
4. How do you expect Barkley to have consistent performance running behind your OL?
5. Will Eli have time to get the ball to Beckham?
6. What concerns you most today about the Cowboys team?

Thanks in advance for your insight and civil response.

One more question:

How much have the Giants improved over last year's Giants team and why?

I see Barkley as an upgrade (which is significant) but the rest of the team seems to actually be worse.

They will stack the box. Sell out to stop the run. If they can run anyways then it will open up the pass. Dak has to make some plays. If we can have a good passing game other teams will see the film next week and start to try to change with it. But until Dak and this Offense can consistently beat the stacks it will continue.
