Everette Brown cleared waivers today. Free to sign elsewhere.

Would come very cheap. Basically would be just taking a flier on him. Has skills, but hasnt proven himself in the nfl.

nobody even has a thought? knows more about him?

I know Carolina traded a 1st round pick to move up in the 2nd to grab hip, dropped him after two 2years with only about six sacks after replacing Peppers. Then was bascially a non factor with San Diego this year, 22 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2 PDs. Just wondered if Rob might be able to polish him up or find a special place in his scheme for him. . 4.75 40, 31.5 vert, 26 reps, 7.55 three cone drill. YEah i know none of that matters after being in the L three years, but at this point im sure he could be scooped up for practically nothing

With the premium on pass rushers and cant find a permanent home. Tells me all I need to know.

I guess my point is what could it hurt, give him a look and if it doesnt work cut him before the season starts.

So can cow manure. Not interested in either.

Never heard of him and didn't feel like Google-ing his name. Perhaps if you would have put more info in the opening post, people may have responded more or cared.

I'd take a look.

I wanted to 'kick the tires' when he was making the rounds last season.

I'm a 'leave no stone unturned' type.

Another first round bust, Aaron Maybin, seems to be turning his career around in New York, why not give Brown the same chance?

Oh no, you can't do that. We must only sign what the masses want. The headliner free agents that are entering their prime, and want to play for less than market value. Any signing to the contrary is a terrible move by our terrible GM.
