What do you guys think of adding free agent CB Tory James?

Everyone knows we need some help in the secondary as this is the weakest link on this team IMO. I think he once led the league with interceptions. Why not bring him in and give him a shot? We all know no trade is going to go down for D. Hall or someone else but I actually think he could help us. Any opinions?

Dunno who he is but anything on this subject is better than trading for DeAngelo Hall lol

In one of the more unheralded moves of this off-season for any team in the league, the Pats were able to go out and sign Tory James, who is two years removed from his Pro Bowl appearance with Cincinnati. He also played for the Raiders. James has played 12 seasons in the NFL at corner. The 6-foot-2, 192-pound corner has played for the Denver Broncos also.

THis guy has been very solid over his career and had eight int with the Bengals three years ago. He would be a younger Aaron Glenn which the Cowboys miss very much

So, a journeyman is what we need? I'm not so sure about that.

I'll tell you one thing Nate Jones is NOT what we need.

Although with Henry coming back, I think he will help out drastically.

Missing him was a pretty big factor as to why we got lit up like we did yesterday.

I have no problem with this, if we sign him only for the rest of the year, we have a chance to do something this year. the best timing of this is after Sunday's game with the bye coming up, a full 2 weeks to get back into shape.

He's probably, almost certainly, not the 8 INT corner that he used to be, but it wouldn't hurt to bring him in for a looksee I don't think. Could add solid depth if nothing else.

or maybe Philipi Sparks is available :lmao2:

I talked to him at a golf tournament a couple weeks ago. :p: Cool guy.

But James did play decent for the Bengals while he was there. He would be better than N. Jones as our 4th CB.

I don't think it will hurt anything to bring him in and give him some workout to see what he has. He appears to have had very solid career. Last year had 4 INTs and 14 PD.

Nate Jones goes, who we pick up-doesn't matter, or if we don't doesn't matter he wasn't covering anybody anyway we would be the same with 10 guys, seriously sometimes you just know its time to churn the roster as BP says..
