What do you guys think would be better?

I was thinking today.....and i still havent even decided on what i would like too see our D do more...or what i would think would work better half the time....so im asking you guys, because I know you guys have a reason for eveything

But what do you guys prefer/think would work better for our D.......

Zone Blitz...or....man 2 man/ press coverage Blitz?

I was thinking Zone Blitz...But then again...i think Newman owns in Man 2 Man

I would use each depending on the situation such as down and distance or how the game is going at a particular stage of the game. As for zone blitz Newman and Henry could still be in man coverage. In the zone blitz you will have a down lineman drop back into a short zone as a LB will come in on the rush.

It will depend on the down and distance....but Wade is going to bring the heat from all directions.

The thing I want to see is more stunts from our lineman. I just want our D to be more unpredictable. Maybe have Canty or Spears drop back in coverage every now and them.

I am looking for more pressure from the front line especially from Canty and Spears with Hatcher doing his thing when his number is call. Also non stop blitzing from Ware and Spencer/ Ellis (if he can play or if he is still around). I agree that you cannot leave your secondary back there trying to cover for as long as they were last yr. As we already know, that was our down fall last yr. But to answer the question of what scheme, I would say play them all depending on the game circumstances.

I think Wade and some of the players said they will use more stunts. As where BP did not use them at all.

Just kill the QB...our secondary will be fine.

It is like asking if we should run the ball or pass the ball on offense. I 'spect you will have to do both at one time or another.

If they stay predominanlty zone while blitzing, Hamlin better be the real deal, casue Roy will be coming and that leaves Hamlin without deep help. Corner will have to playoutside in a zone and backers take the flats.

Prolly, now that I think about it, man in base, zone in nickel.
