With Parcells gone? Whether you liked him, hated him, or were indifferent, what're you excited for/interested in/looking forward to?

Me, I'm looking forward to finding out whether Julius had been ruined - or, just is what he is.

I am looking forward to seeing who the new coach is, but I am scared out of my mind we are gonna take a few steps back next season. I am scared the new coach will let some of our guys walk. I gave up on julie a long time ago.

VERY rarely do you see team's with first year HC's move forward. If you're playing the odds, you can almost guarantee recession. Generally, if you look ata division, you can pencil in the team with the new HC in for the basement.

as a fellow member of the "continuity crew" I'm willing to see how the Cowboys respond as an organization. do we maintain the same philosophy and hire a 3-4 coach (ala Wade Phillips, etc....) or do we move back to the 4-3 and start anew in what this organization wants its philosophy, etc...

I just want to see how the whole team, offense and defense, do without the Tuna "holding them back," or playing not to lose as opposed to playing to win.

JJ on the offense, I think he's the real deal. On defense, I just want to see a bunch of young guys flying around the field making plays, I'll gladly accept some mistakes along the way.

well, I'm not conceding anything at all There is also a history of first year coaches having success/improvement from the prior year (Gruden, Payton, Mangini,Dungy, Parcells, just off the top of my head)

Oh I dunno.. like 6 first year HC's got more wins this year than their teams had last year.

3 didnt. And they're mostly explainable by 1 having worked for Al Davis, 1 for Matt Millen and 1, Herm Edwards, just cause he's kind of a stooge anyways. ;)

Also with how we've been handling offseasons with Parcells. Are we going to be judicious as we have been, even if we have struck out a time or two, or are we going to play with Snyder every offseason?

That will be interesting. Especially if it goes the other way.

What if the Cowboys traded a 1st round pick for the great St. Gibbs?

That's the BIG question. So far, we haven't shown the personnel to run either, LOL.
