So everyday i do my miles and i wave to the locals that i know and i also wave to people who are working in town like the police, public works, UPS, FED EX, USPS. Just a wave, and a simple hello sometimes, and i keep moving.

Here is where it gets interesting. A woman who delivers my mail (USPS) saw me last week as i was taking out some trash, so she wants to have a prolonged conversation with me, she starts by telling me some private stuff about herself, her age being one of them. I never asked for any of this information nor have i ever tried to have a conversation with her. Next she invites me to walk with her in the near future while she is delivering mail. So now i am thinking this woman is single and she is saying these things because she wants me to ask her out to dinner or coffee or whatever. So today i figure why not, if she is willing to share that info with me without me asking anything i might as well ask her if she would like to have dinner with me sometime soon. I asked her that today, what do you think her response was?

Iv'e already had my first drink tonight like i usually do (single malt always, tonight it's Singleton Glendullan 18) and have lost interest in whatever she is trying to accomplish with these mixed messages. I did what i needed to do, i will just conduct myself as if nothing ever happened and let her play this out however she wants. I will go silent with a smile and cheerful general expressions like have a good weekend etc if she says hello or whatever. Thanks for the mail on time is really my only concern now.
