Turner, Garret, Rivera? Which would have been the better coaching group?

Are you kidding? That was Jones choice. He didn't want to switch to the 4-3 and Turner wanted more control than Phillips.

Personally, in the long run I think Turner, Rivera would have been a better combination overall, but I am excited to see the defense attacking for a change. The personnel is custom made for attacking an offense not sitting and reacting.

No I am not kidding. Rivera wanted to change our D from a 3-4 to a 4-3 and JJ didn't want that. That ended any possibility of him coming here. Therefore the Turner, Garrett, Rivera option wasn't a reality for the Cowboys.

How would you consider Rivera for the long haul,if he came here as a DC and things played out well this year,he would likely be gone to one of the head coaching jobs next year. So unless it was for the head coaching position,I didn't see the point in him coming here.
