They are stats on espn individual defensive player pages. I thought stuffs, but Kyle Vanden Bosch had 4 total tackles(3 solo), but had 3 stf's and 9 stfy's? Any ideas?

"Stuffs" and "Stuff yards" I guess.

Stuffs = tackle for loss ( I think ).

STFY = how many yards lost on those "Stuffs".

That would seem to make sense, but here's Vanden Bosch's play by play involvement:

Assisted tackle of Marcel Shipp for 6 yd loss
Solo tackle of JJ Arrington for 1 yd loss
Josh McCown sacked for loss of 4 yds
Solo tackle of Marcel Shipp for 5 yrd loss

His game log says 3 STF'S and 9 STFY'S. To arrive at that, you'd have to say either the sack or the assisted tackle doesn't count. You'd then have to get to 9 by adding 1, 5, and 3(one half of 6). That means the sack doesn't count and the assist counts as a full STF, but only half the yards. Albert Haynesworth had 1 STF and 3 STFY(which would make since because he is the one who assisted KVB in the stop of Shipp in the first quarter...now it kind of makes sense Rack...thanks!
