What does this say about this coaching administration?

Honestly.....how does 12 players get away being out all night?

Partying it up hours before your going to board a plane to Cincinnati to play the biggest game of the year to keep your playoff hopes alive.

If there was ever a sign that this team has cashed it in on this coaching staff... this is it.

Talk about a lack of institutional control. If this doesn't prove it...then I don't know what does.

This whole situation with Josh Brent could be the wake up call that this organization desperately needs.

If I'm Jason Garrett.....If this team loses today- I cut everyone of those 12 players.

I don't care who it is. From the coaches perspective- If you the player can't respect your other teammates/and coaches to give your best- I don't want you on my roster.

Really- Is this Jason Garrett's right kind of guy?

Jerry has a big decision to make....who does he side with?

Keep the players? Or let Jason Garrett put his stamp on this team and begin the house cleaning?

What time did the other 10 leave? Oh, no one knows so we "assume"

I don't understand why people believe sports athletes somehow forfeit their lives. Two days before a game and they should be under house arrests? Hey, your boss just called. There is going to be a big meeting next week. You have to stay at home and be in bed by 8pm. Sound good?

No, but you have a big exam in 2 days time that could have a huge influence on the rest of your career, what do you do.

If your answer is "Go out, get wasted & drive home" then I suggest your career probably isn't headed in the right direction.

Add me to that list.
Stupidy knows no bounds, proven time and time again even in these tragic situations. A tragedy of its own.

What 12 players involved...didn't see that one coming.....wonder what the occasion was...and who was involved....this could get ugly if true.

Please stop the Jerry Jones from rapping with PAPA Johns on my TV.....Its is horrible make's me gag on Papa Johns

Sounds great.

Pay me several million dollars and I wouldn't care what you've said to me in the first place. Don't want me to stay out? Oh well, I'll do it anyway. If you want to get rid of me that's fine. I'm talented so another team will just pick me up anyway and in a worst case scenario I'm setup for life barring an absolutely pathetic mismanagement of my money.

If I were paid that kind of money at my job I'd fully expect to be held to strict rules and regulations and guess what, the NFL has them. No reason why a team should be unreasonable for doing the same.

Did you happen to note that when the NFL had the cab service they got 65 calls a month? While fun to pretend this is not a cowboys/garret/Jones issue.

So now expecting professionals to stay relatively sober during the season is "forfeiting their lives" and "keeping them under house arrest"?

:laugh2:

there are a lot of things that can affect an athletes performance

going out and getting wasted less than 48 hours before an important game is one of them.

It was stupid. And it was unprofessional.

Someone that has followed the Cowboys better than I could give a much better answer, but I think some of this kind of partying went on even when Jimmy Johnson was coach. The days of a Vince Lombardi setting a 11pm curfew and enforce it are long gone.

I'll agree that the perception is toxic PR.

If I had a free cab service I would go out all the time.

I think it definitely does point to a very undisciplined team. Nothing I've seen of the Cowboys since Garrett took over has made me believe there's any real change in that regard. Jerry still reigns supreme. The coach is still a powerless pushover.

I'd just like to see the players fear their head coach again. They don't do that with Jason Garrett. Mostly due to Jerry Jones.

People who advance I'm life do. Trust me.
