I probably have the worst case scenario with my girlfriend. Not only does she not understand/not like football, but this is her logic as to why i shouldn't get online everyday to read about them.

"I dont see why you have to read stuff about them everyday, just watch the games when the season starts and if they are doing well then you know they did well in the off season."................ clearly she just doesnt understand.

My girlfriend is a Cowboys fan #2, thanks to me. Her #1 team is Indy, she's from Indiana so I can't really be too mad.

She understands that I love football, she just thinks I'm a little too excessive.

I frankly have no idea what she's talking about. It's not like I could name every player on the ros.....umm...

My wife is a Cowboys fan. It's one of the two tests she had to pass. :laugh1:

My wife and I spend all day every Sunday watching the NFL. Most of the time is spent by her talking **** on my fantasy team and declaring hers the best of all time. Dolphins and Cowboys...it's gonna be a battle for the affections of our children when the time comes.

My wife watched her first Cowboy game with me when Romo played the undefeated Colts. Since then, she has watched every game and now feels the butterflies too.

Now me watching all 65 preseason games on NFL network...she gets a little annoyed by that.

"But honey, I need to check out the Seahawk's third team defense."

Yeah, there is overkill at a certain point. :D

She knew about it before we were married. Its a part of who I am,so she accepts it.She does think I can be extreme with it sometimes, and I'm trying to work on that(NOT!). The cool thing is,she will watch all of the games with me,schedules dinner/lunch around the games,so it works for us.

Spouse? What's that? :D

You actually marry them? You know after you do that they get to be a voice in your life?

Where have you been?
How does my hair look?
What do you mean we are going to be late if I don't hurry?
Why don't you call me more?
You dont love me.
I wished you cared about my needs as much as your own needs.
You never look at me.
Stop looking at me.
I don't like your cereal.
The blinky light in my car is on, please take care of it.
What do you mean I should cook more?

You guys are dumb. ;)

Hrmm, My Girlfriend is a 49ers fan. :D

So it's fun, except for when they show the top 10 greatest moments in football history and "The [luckiest ever damn] Catch" comes on.

My wife is pretty understanding about it. She's now outnumbered since my 2 year old is a relentless Cowboys fan. (Technically she has no clue what she's looking at, but I think it's awesome that she shouts "Go Cowboys!" at the top of her lungs anytime she sees any sporting event on television, golf included.)

My girl love football!! The only problem is she is a Deadskins fan. So twice a year our house is literally divided. I don't want to even look at her Deadskins stuff and she doesn't want my Cowboys gear touching her.

My wife is awesome when it comes to the Cowboys and sports in general. We have been married 13 years and not once gave me a hard time when they are on TV. It helps she grew up playing sports and sat on the couch with her dad growing up watching basketball and football with him.

My wife of 35 years learned long ago that Cowboys games were sacred events not to be messed with.

I think it was the '91 season when Dallas made the playoffs, they had a game against Detroit. The only problem was, I had to go to a church ceremony of some kind to say i would be my neice's Godfather. To get to the game on time, I had a getaway car parked right outside the back door and as soon as I said whatever I was supposed to say, I bolted out the back door and took off. I got to see the opening kickoff.
Then, about five years ago, I was watching the first preseason game of the new season. Sometime during the first quarter, I got a piece of steak lodged in my throat and could not get it down. I couldn't swallow anything, including saliva. I dutifully put a trash can by my side and spit in it for the rest of the game (even through the 4th quarter scrubs) before going to the hospital. They finally got my esophagus cleared at around 3 am.
Trust me, my wife knows how serious I am about the Cowboys...
