Jerry has hinted of a Hershal Walker type deal.

If you are Jerry what would it take for you to trade Tony ?

I am not saying we should or that Jerry will, just curious

as to what the board thinks his trade value would be ?

I would say 2 #1 picks at the minimum, and one would have to be a lower

#1 this year.

Not picking on Tony, but I think he would fetch the most of any player on our

team.

Thoughts ? Hey, it's a long off season :)

First, it would be a mistake trading him since there is no one waiting in the wings to be the franchise QB.

Second, if he were to garner a 1st rd pick, it would be in the latter half of the round.

Thirdly, there are no sure thing QB's coming out this season and most likely, the next either.

Well, if any team is dumb enough to give 2 #1's for him, that might be enough to pull the trigger but get set for a few more mediocre seasons coming our way.

Yeah let's just trade him....sure it will help.

Just trade him for a bag of Lay's Potato Chips, most fans want him gone..chips should win em over.

FYI Dez Bryant is worth more than any cowboy at the moment. Romo is next behind him.

A 1 and a 3 this year and a 1 in 2015 ( johnny football :})

With the talent coming out this year and zero back-up plan, I wouldn't even entertain the idea. We need to get Glennon at 18 or jump up a few spots and snatch him up, groom him for 2 years and start him!

I doubt we could get a 1st rounder for him unless it was >25th pick or so.

I've never seen so many pretty good or even very good QBs in the league all at once. Then there are teams like St Louis who invested the 1st overall pick who are not going to throw in the towel.

I'd like to see Romo get a shot for Cards, Jets, or Titans (doubt they are in the market yet). But sadly, it would both energize much of the Dallas fanbase (some here would be in nirvana) and would set our franchise back 3-4 years (if we are lucky) all at the same time.

A fresh start would certainly be good for him though; especially if he went somewhere with a better line while still having some weapons.

Ain't happenin' though.

Similar to the rams Commanders trade. Something substantial.

He isn't worth anything (according to most here) anyway. What makes you think another team would give up anything for him?

I would take 2 # 2's and a 3rd. He was an UDFA he didn't cost anything really but a contract. So you get 3 quality picks I would be happy. Not sure how much a 33 ur old QB is worth these days. So I am being realistic.

Really? Whats youre definition of mediocre?

8-8 is my def of mediocre. I guess w/o Romo I should have said "get ready for a few bad seasons"

Sorry, my bad :(

It's a situation where he's worth more to the Cowboys than anybody else. Nobody's giving up a couple of 1sts for Romo.

you'd be an idiot to take canything less than two number ones unless it's the number one overall then it and 2 #2's might get it. I still wouldn't do it this year. Ask Larry Fitzgerald what he'd give for Romo? Some people and thier 1-800-quarterback mentality.

I don't think you are correct. AZ, KC, Jacksonville, The Jets, Buffalo any of those teams and most of their fans would likely give 2 ones for Romo.

I don't think anyone gives up two first's for an aging QB. Romo may be worth it to some, but thats expensive.

I think this is the perfect year to trade him. I would look for a 2nd and 5th this year and a one next year. This is doable IMO
