What era would you want to live in?

My absolute favorite movie.

Nowhere near my favorites but man alive that movie had some great cars in it.

Another movie that is nowhere in the league of that one but also had some great cars in it was an 80's B comedy called Hollywood Knights.

I like the era we are in right now overall. If I had to choose another era though...

The Old West and the gunfighters. I'd probably be dead very young, but I love that age of our History.

A close 2nd would be WWII era. I think they are the greatest generation of Americans ever. I respect no one more than I do WWII veterans.

I've always been fascinated in the early Romans and Greeks, so I'd choose one of those.

Secondly, I'd choose the US, during the heyday's of the Fords, Gettys, DuPonts, Flaglers, Dukes, Carnegies, Vanderbilts and Astors.

Conversation with my 7 yr old grandson last night.

Grandson-Boppop, when you were a kid, what kind of games did you play?

Me-When I was a kid, we would go down to the ballpark and play baseball all day. We would leave early in the morning and not come home until it was almost dark.

Grandson-Did your Mom have to ring a bell to let you know it was time to come home/

Me-I am not that old.

Grandson-what did you do when you went to your grandmas house

ME-We were out in the woods, so we would ride horses a lot.

Grandson-Is that because there weren't any cars?

Over the past 3 to 4 decades, as a result of technology, there have been so many changes to how people spend their time and live their lives. I used to read Alvin Toffler, now I'm living it.

I'd love to see the technology of tomorrow and how the daily lives of people will change as a result. I don't know that I'd want to live in the future, but I'd be curious to see it.
