What exactly is the Difference between Garrett and Sparano?

Can somebody explain the significant difference in roles between the two? I have a feeling Sporano is pretty much a goner, and just want to see where the major impacts of the offense are going to be when he does.

My understanding is:

JG= Gameday playcalling, passing game, head gameplanning & TO cheerleader.

TS= OL position coach, running game & assisting with gameplan.

I just wonder why all these guys want to go to Miami so bad when they just fired everybody after one year. I mean honestly the personnel are horrible, and working for BP who doesn't let anybody talk to the world is no piece of cake. I mean working for Jerry and Wade isn't like working counter at McDonalds.Honestly none of these guys is going to get Miami more than a couple of wins. And honestly Ireland and BP have had their share of clinkers as well, maybe we can give him Carpenter..

Without Terry Glenn!

With a better OL, a Romo with experience, and no Bledsoe for 6 games.

Works both ways, also....

More than that, TO and Witten made up for the catches and TDs. Actually more so. They are better receivers than Glenn. So it was actually an improvement to not have him! :lmao: :lmao2:

Why is our pass blocking good, but our run blocking pretty bad? Don't you think that losing Sporana may actually benefit this team, because of a potential conflict of roles between Garrett and Sporana?

Matt Mosley was on the radio talking about how Jason Witten told him a while back that with all this talk about Jason Garrett leaving, they really should be concerned with Tony Sparano leaving.

Mosley said that Jason Witten went on to say that Sparano had a presence about him and did alot of things behind the scene.

I do not know the difference between Sparano and Garrett but I do know this Offense was pretty salty under Tony Sparano and would probably continue to be good if he indeed went back to calling plays.

Why are you so down on Terry Glenn? I believe you made a post yesterday stating that Glenn's loss may have been beneficial to the team.

Also JG passing attack is more vertical than under Bill. Bill did not like to go vertical until around the 50 yard line and we ran more draws on 3rd and super long.

I don't think worring is going to help. Either he leaves to be a HC or he stays where he is. I doubt Jerry is going to satisfy Tony with a "fist full of dollars". <-- Like how I used that?

Yep, I agree 100% NYC.

Our organization has been raided several times throughout our history, with the success this team is having, I didn't expect anything to be different.

My real fear is who will have input and making the decisions on Draft Day.

I'm not anti-Glenn at all! I know what he bring to the team. I also know that when Glenn catches the ball, it takes the ball out of TOs hands also. You lose a bit of versatility without him, but you take the ball out of higher caliber players when you throw to him.

Obviously, in the end you want Glenn in the game, because you have better option than Crayton and TO and Witten are still in the game.

Thats my biggest fear. The draft is the life-blood of professional teams, and bad drafting and personal decisions kill a franchise. Look at Dallas after Jimmy left, look at the Rangers after 1988 and 1999, (years they went away from drafting and started buying) and look at the New York Knicks with Isiah Thomas making the trainwreck decisions.

True.

But just like with Terrell Owens, when Glenn had the ball in his hands, good things typically happened last year.

I thought he was the most consistent of the two last year.

I've actually wondered about that myself alot, it was worse last year.

Geez that would be a stupid post. :) I wish there was a rating system for each post. Some of these people need (-10 Stupid) ratings, or for some of those draft scenarios (-10 On Crack)

Not having T Glenn is the reason some teams can triple Owens and have success doing it.

So having T Glenn could actually put more balls in TO's hands without forcing them there.
