On a serious note, I wonder how often Scott Linehan will go shotgun this season?

I dont care so much about the number of plays out of the shotgun as I do about how he will limit Romo from changing running plays to passing plays at the line.

We will soon see how much control Linehan has over the offensive scheme. That's what dictates many of the audibles. I hope he institutes a few run-only base plays myself. That will help towards setting up more pass action situations.

I'm also hoping that Romo is not given the latitude to change from a run to a pass depending on how he see the defense.

I would not give Romo a run and a pass play based on what he sees, on certain situations I would give Romo two run plays depending on the defensive formation, or two pass plays depending on the situation. That would allow Romo to not get himself in trouble with those fateful ints that he does throw. But, even then, he is going to throw an Int and the first one he does throw, all hell is going to break loose from his haters.

That is why this fans doesn't like the carte blanche pessimist. No matter what happens, he feels he is justified...and since a pessismist by choice, voices just that no matter what. That with the smallest window for change...multiple victories in the playoffs, in consecutive years.
