and I'll give you a hint--his last name starts with a "V" BUT he now plays for the Colts. You guessed it. Vinetaria also missed 2 FGs against his former Pats' teammates. Point is that Vanderjagt's numbers were in the very good range until these 2 misses. But Vinetaria also missed just a few weeks ago. Additionally Colts lost Vinetaria for most of preseason due to an injury as we did with Vanderjagt. Don't get me wrong; I'm not a happy camper and remain troubled whenever our FG kicker comes out. But hey I'm been cringing like that for several years. Besides who else is out there that can do as well as Vanderjagt (except for the 2 misses yesterday). There's nothing we can do now but if necessary a reevaluation can be made once the season ends. And I suspect w/o a viable option Vanderjagt is lot better then anybody else but Vinetaria.
