What game would you want us to open the season to?

Who cares. We are not going to compete for anything important this year or likely the next 4-5 so just draw a name out of the hat and move on. In my 54 years of life and being a fan of this team since I can remember, this is the least excited I have ever been for Football season. It is really sad what this team has become.

But I will play along, make it the Texans on Sunday night... let’s get the embarrasement of getting blown out at home by them out of the way.

True. Three years ago, the offense came out smoking against Tampa, but the defense was a sieve. The opposite was the case the following year.

I still would prefer to face them with more time to prepare than less. And that should be the freshest they’ll be physically at any point.

there's never any consistency it seems, one phase of our team is working great and the other doesn't seem to ever be great at the same time
