Actually the opposite. Putting together 2 wins, and if we can win another, that goes so much further going into next season. Picking 8th or 12th or 15th, does not matter like the wins and a positive attitude does. Players will have more confidence in themselves as well as the coaching staff. If the scouts do their job, they can draft a player that has the same if not better impact on the draft.

The Garrett idea of positivity and confidence building to next year has been proven to be false. It gives players false confidence by doing better vs bad teams. This team hasn’t put back to back good seasons together in forever. 2018’s late run was supposed to set up a NFC title run last year. What happened? Not many injuries. Players just got over valued. Every year is different.

The higher pick gives you more options. You can trade with more teams and more players are available.
