What happen to Dak throwing the Back Shoulder Pass?

It's confusing why Dak never throws the BTP to Dez any more?
That was a common throw for him when he became the Starter but now it seems nonexistent
There have been numerous times this season where he throws the ball to Dez where it requires him to jump either over or through the CB to try to catch it.
If he threw the BTP instead, most would have resulted in a TD. Instead, it seems Dez is having to just knock the ball down to keep from getting intercepted or the pass is just easily broken up by the CB.

Pressure, creating throws with bad footing, which he is already bad at anyhow.

The back shoulder throw was always a problem with Dak and one reason why Bryant is less effective with him at QB.

IDK why you say it was a common throw for him last season. He had always problems with his accuracy and couldt put the ball where it had to be. Was always a gamble when he threw that ball.

How about getting some separation and making uncontested catches like top receivers do.

Dez was never one who was able to create separation on the fly routes.

He runs very good dig routes. And excelerates when he gets a jump ball thrown because he is able to catch the ball at the highest point and is able to outmuscle the defender.

Thats it.

Bryant is 29 years old now. I dont expect him to improve his game much more. He has to be used to his strengths and right now its not all his fault its also the QB whos holding im back.

If Dez would make some of those catches Dak would start throwing them to him again. I can't remember the last contested catch he's made.......Dak is not about to throw picks for fun. Last night he did throw up one, which Romo use to do all the time, in the long one.

Dez has to start making some plays! Aikman would never throw the ball to Dez because he wouldn't trust him. He was notorious for that.

Last night he didn't have time to make Finesse throws. They obviously schemed quick dropbacks and throws to help combat Philly's pass rush. Sometimes you have to give it to the other team. Eags have a very very good defense, and not many holes.

Dez game isn't about separation. Its about getting down field for 50-50 ball. Problem is Dak doesn't throw that pass well. I only see Dez on roster for 1 more year.

I would bet money that Romo didn't throw it as much as you think

I have never, ever seen an offense built on 50/50 throws to their number one receiver. It actually is a stupid argument. If I were a QB, I wouldn't want to rely on 50/50 balls.

To be fair he couldn't make any throws last night. Simple, uncovered out routes. Easy WR screen type throws. His accuracy was horrific last night. He looked like Hundley.

I think Dak was hearing footsteps from the Atlanta game and his internal clock was telling him to get rid of the ball fast. So he started rushing his throws without setting his feet and his mechanics were all off resulting in very poor accuracy.

Call it the Atlanta hangover.

So is this the new "Dez doesn't get seperation" myth? Is this what guys hang on to? Now its the Dak "has bad footing" lol.
Daks footwork sucks, yes. Go read any scouting report before draft day, and then watch him throw off his back foot consistently. I didn't say Dak sucks. I just answered the OP's question. Our play calling is predictable, our coaches suck, Smith has played hurt or not at all, and it's created holding penalties/excess pressure/sacks that kill drives. Zeke is out. It's a combination of things, but Dak is not without fault in it. He plays on the same team.
