What happened on that would-be Rico play?

When he came running in, he was doing a motion with his hands kind of like "I got it, I got it." when a bunch of players seemed to motion like they wanted to let him know what that situation was or something.

Then obviously that play was never run and he was on the sideline talking with the coaches.

I couldn't figure out what happened there. Obviously they changed the play, but did he not actually know what was happening? Was he complaining about not getting an opportunity – didn't really seem like it, but I don't know.

It was a weird sort of thing. Maybe they were just explaining why they were changing the play to him.

Has anyone on the team or in the media elaborated on that situation?

That was his way of releasing some frustration that dumb & dumber finally put him into the game.

I'd venture it was the same red zone play that dak missed him for a Td during the Giants game....just to the other side. Rico had lined up on the left this time vrs right side vrs giants, so maybe Rico did have it wrong I guess. Which hash mark was the ball on vrs giants game, could actually be a factor to give Rico room on route

It's not like we should expect a lot of change ups more than that from garrets scheme
