What happened to Eddie George?

He seemed to kind of disappear off the face of the earth after 2004 with us. I don't think I've ever seen an athlete who was so good just go away like that. He only played 8 years, too, and was fairly healthy his entire career.

I know he didn't do too well the year he played with us, but still...you'd think he's be playing somewhere today.

He is bitter too, hates the Cowboys, probably because he was washed up and replaced by that rookie Julius Jones when he was in Dallas.

George always ran a little too upright and took a ton of hits. He had a ton of carries in his time in Tenn. and didn't seem to have much left when he got here.

his upright running style did him in, and a case of turf toe that he suffered some years back that I guess never healed

Eddie George is on the dinner theater circuit now. But I understand he has also completed a television pilot in which he plays a country veterinarian with a cow milking fetish. It was filmed on location in Rhode Island.

He's getting ready to serve up some Wolverine-Bobs at his restaurant in Columbus.

Glad you enjoyed that one summerisfunner. I have my moments. I like your Romo inspired signature. Someday I will get into photoshop as time permits.

I would like to do cheesy one with Tony Romo posing like John Travolta on the dance floor in Staying Alive with the caption 'Moxie At The Roxy'.
Might as well keep it in the spirit of our other emerging dancing Cowboys a la Emmit. If this inspires you go for it. I get a percentage of your royalties. Agreed?

Eddie Needed alot of carries to wear Defenses down.. Never had that chance in Dallas. The guy career average was pretty shoddy but he got it done..

Last I saw him he was on MTV Made...trying to turn some idiot into a player.

The kid failed miserably, but Eddie was pretty cool.

Yeah, he's on FSN'S Pro Football Preview, with Tim Brown, Jason Sehorn, and Jay Glazer. Worth checking out if you can't make it til 11 AM on Sundays for ESPN's Countdown.

Eddie's pretty good.

I was thinking he, at one time, was doing some stuff with the Ohio State team...maybe radio or team broad casting. But maybe I am totally off the mark, I just think I saw him doing that for a year or something.

Could be, BP. I think he did a little NFL Network Total Access as well.

The FOX gig is perfect for him, imo, - he, Sehorn and Brown have a nice chemistry going, they good around some but not so much to make it about them rather than the games they are previewing.

Btw, there are only two kinds of college running backs in this world.

Those that run like Steve Salton, and those that don't. :)
