50% would actually be the highest rate in the history of the NFL over the course of a season by a wide margin. The current record is about 40% by the 07 patriots who are by far in first as the next 3 are sitting between 35-37%. If the Cowboys could score TDs at the rate they did last night it would be almost be a Jerry Rice record in the way it seems so out of line with everyone else.

When you have the stones to make a claim like that you better be able to back it up.

You're paying a guy 60 million he's a 10-year veteran and he can't operate the 2-minute drill before halftime and throws up an interception off his back foot like some kid in high school.

You got Pickens dropping balls that are right in his hands.

Squandering opportunities like that changed the whole game you can't do that in someone else's stadium.

Between Pickens and Dak on that series you had $90 million of suck!!!

Stay out of the game thread and watch the game. The Cowboys and TWO possessions in the 2nd half. Just TWO. Both ended in TD’s. In the first half it was penalties and dropped passes. I can tell you didn’t really watch the game and are just listening to the talking heads because if you were watching you’d have seen what I just laid out for you.

Did watch the game and rewatch The game on the NFL channel.

And yes our defense sucked and we didn't get opportunities in the second half.
But we had the golden opportunity before halftime and squandered it. Rocky admit it that is not what we expect from our 10-year veteran 60 million quarterback that is high school decision making.

The Giants actually had 3 possessions in the second half. If your demand "unless the offense is perfect it is their fault" then you are always going to blaming them and you would blame just about every other offense in the history of the NFL. If you are scoring TDs on half your drives you should win every game. If you only get 2 second half possessions (and score TDs on both) your defense was an abomination.

That, in a nutshell, has largely been the criticism in both the Romo and Dak eras-- that they weren't scoring with that kind of efficiency.

There were a handful of games where the offense let the defense down, sure-- including some important ones like @SF divisional round recently. But it is few and far between.

Romo apologist. Dak apologist. In reality, we've all just baked in being defense apologists, unless they're just historically bad like 2012 or last year.

Hey I have always liked dak and stuck up for him because he was always a good humble guy.

But now when you're going to start bragging and come up small in a moment like that that could have absolutely turned the tide and won the game I got a problem with it..

I like getting good value and we did not get good value out of the coaching receiving or the quarterback position in that game last night
