What happened to GOTI

I think he was missed but TJ bass stepped up and did a good job he had zero pressures

Ranked 7th among guards in run blocking and 13th in pass protection
I'm really going to have to say he was a pleasant surprise.

On The other hand Pickens dropping that ball in his hands and then Dak throwing one up for grabs all when they should have been driving down the field for a score that would have changed the whole game was totally unacceptable.
that was a bad low to the ground pass that pickens "dropped" he isnt good going to the ground like that.
Dak should have thrown a better pass.

Dak also had that deer in headlights look early sun night.
Dart is already better than Dak.

I have to blame shotty for the GOTI thing, dont know how that started or who started it, but he should have shut that down.

The weirdest thing though was williams taunting on his td run ! He has never done that lol and has never seemed like that type of a guy.
Shotty chews him, out for that I hope.

but hey I aint giving up yet lets see what they do game 2.

Yeah Williams always seemed like a really classy guy I was happy to see him wearing the 33 he did it proud last year.

Just made him look like some spoiled punk really disappointed in him.

No we're definitely are not giving up but definitely not at all happy with what I'm seeing up to now.

We added talent to the defense and it certainly didn't show itself last night.
But talent has to be coached properly to be effective

He's just scrambling and underthrew a ball that he was trying to throw away.

Don't need to make it more than it is.
I looked at the replay 10 different times and it looks like he had Jake Ferguson at the first down marker with absolutely no one around him not sure why he didn't throw it to him.

Maybe I missed something what did you see

Sorry, brother @Blackrain , but I believe you got it wrong on TJ Bass' Week 1 performance.

Here was his PFF Grade and breakdown:

T.J. Bass played all 58 offensive snaps at left guard for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of the 2026 season against the New York Giants. [1]
Stepping in for the injured Tyler Smith, Bass had a tough outing in the 28-20 loss, earning lower marks from Pro Football Focus (PFF): [1, 2, 3]
    • Pass-blocking grade: 53.2 (second-worst among Cowboys starters)
    • Run-blocking grade: 54.1 (lowest among the offensive line)
    • Pressures allowed: Surrendered three pressures in the game [1]
