What happened to the defense, get to 20 and win?

The offense put the team in a very good position to win the game and the defense collapsed. It’s that simple, but for some reason you can’t grasp that concept. 28 with a 14 point lead in the 4th should equal a win. The defense gave it up.

Not saying they didn't and I grasp that concept very well. I also understand that there was an offense that did nothing in the 1st quarter, gifted them 14 points off turnovers and then did absolutely nothing in the 4th qtr or OT. Those things matter.

Let's just pass the ball three times and punt. Let's just pass the ball three times and punt. No that's not a typo they done that BS twice. Malik Davis was having a good game, but let's pull and then abandoned run. The problem with the offense is Moore...not having a feel for the game.

The problem with the defense is our DE's and middle linebacker. On outside runs our Dees get pushed back and our line backers have to run around them. Or our DE's get up to feild too quick and leave big hoes in between them and the defensive tackle. And that is a two reasons runs to the outside are killing us. On runs up the middle both LVE and Parsons wait on a double teams to come to them instead of attacking a double team. So, in between our DE's and our linebackers, we will never be able to stop the run.

It is similar to last season with our offense. Teams have adjusted and we have some injuries. Hopefully Quinn will make changes. Teams now are going to try run off tackle on us similar to last season with defenses only putting seven in the box.

NO sane person is blaming our offense for that loss, anyone who does is reaching and is OFF BASE.. i know coper rush led offenses were horrible on 3rd down many many punts low scoring games, defense was ok then but now that teams figured out run it 40 times and they can stay in games, now that a defensive issue to adjust,

How about we lost to a desperate Green Bay team at Lambeau in overtime. The Eagles lost to Washington at home with backup quarterback and nobody seems concerned. They lost by 11 too.

AS USUAL with Romo and Dak they didn't score enough. facts are our offense is scoring more, is better on 3rd downs then rush was. Rush had horrible 3 and out with punts and 3rd down failures

that came this same defense on the field MUCH longer. Maybe Rush and that early games of heavy defensive sans flat wore this team town.,. Who knows but for sure our offence is scoring plenty enough, 25, 49, 28, nothing that happened in the first half when you end up 14-14 and its new game and in the 3rd, Our offense goes on a run long drive BTW that one was like 17 plays TOP was insane, Defense didn't get rest??

lets stop with the oh the extra possessions created them ,blew a 14-point lead in the 4th foir the first time in 195 games. right all dak all the offense i mean 28 on the road up by 14 is NOT ENOUGH.,. Back to offense needs to score 40 ti win..lol has nothing to do with teams running 40+ times and DQ Parsons Wilson an company can't stop it.. that the TOP issue , its on the DEFENSE!

Washington beat green bay and the eagles beat us Washington beat the eagles. in fans eyes that means Washington is the best team in the NFCE now..
that not the issue here at this point we are discussing us..time to move on the MN , how about that?

He got the same exact blame on forums and SM. Seems like winning is a team game and losing is QB stat around here..

It's partly on him. You can't keep failing to convert and put your defense back out there, expecting to hold the opponent under 20.

Any time a qb and Tim Tebow are mentioned in the same sentence.... it's never a good thing.

so without dak they held teams under 19 dak comes back and 2 straight games 29 and 31??

blame dak all you want its not on him, some questionable routes caused those INTs, however he gave this d enough points in the 4th to win, show me game where Rush had to score so much .. cant stop the run and for sure cant hold a 14 point 4th qtr lead...right

BTW Lewis and Brown are somewhat unappreciated here but look at what our young dbs did? not much..

PSS thank refs for that mugging on lamb not called but those 4 flags in OT went on us, i can handle ours but the blatant no call, game changing OT mugging of lamb on 3rd down, hows that not called? No gret area that blatant PI...

The blame is on Dak and the coaching. I have said it time and again . Dak is a horrible QB for our D . Dak is only effective in the up tempo , Dak audibles out of too many runs . Goes 3 and out too many times and in the 4th quarter our D is TAXED from being on the field all game . Unless Dakota checks his ego ( doubtful ) , this will continue to happen in big games over and over . Rush needs to be put back as QB #1 to salvage this season

Why is the blame always pointed at the QB? The same crap happened with Romo. If the offense scored 35 points and TR threw 4 TDs, it was his fault that the Cowboys lost because he didn't throw 5 TDs. This game was lost by the entire team - it's not more complicated than that. The defense could not get off the field on any Green Bay drive in the 4th quarter or in OT; and conversely the offense could not move the football to run the clock or score a FG or TD that would have ended it. To place the blame at one single person is lazy analysis. Even the HC and OC deserve some of the blame. Why didn't we run the football more in the 4th to keep the ball away, or in OT on 3rd and 3, especially if McCarthy knew that they would go for it on 4th down if they didn't get the yards on 3rd down? Then there were the penalties. Although I do find it odd that whenever Dallas plays at Green Bay, the questionable calls always seem to go in one direction.

Like he did against the Eagles?? Sometimes I wish guys like you would get their wish, but since I am a Cowboy team football fan and want the best chance to win, stick with Dak.

This is like last year, except with the defense instead.

Last year our offense was all world. Then teams overcame our scheme.

This year the same thing is happening to the defense. I have more faith in Quinn to get right though.
