What Happened to the Offensive Line

This has been bugging since last night. How can an offensive line just fold so easily in the second half, especially considering the Cowboys rushed for over 100 hards and simply controlled the TOP in the first half?

It isn't as if the Giants did anything special upfront.

I can not say I've ever seen an OL fold after dishing out the pain they did in the first half. Amazing and I think the Giants DL get alot of credit.

They wanted it more than we did, and the line failed to answer the bell. This team still lacks leaders on the field.

Unprepared.

How were they unprepared? They rushed for plus 100 yards the first half. They controlled the TOP. To just fold like that makes no sense. There were no exotic blitzes by the Giants, and it was clear the Giants were keeping men back to prevent the big play.

I wish I knew the answer to this. IMO this was the difference in the game. In the 4th quarter Romo was playing at the risk of his life and health. They were coming from every direction with malice aforethought.

They ran out of gas, easy going practices and excuses the month of December. Mental mistakes. That makes you unprepared. they got their azzes handed to them in the second half period.

It was ugly man. Then to try and blame Romo is ludicrous.

Giants certainly left it all on the field defensively late in the game. That's the game I saw. Cowboys just couldn't seem to get any momentum going. And when they did get a positive play the next play it always seemed like they were shooting themselves in the foot, with poor play selection and execution.

Ah man, I know the finger pointing and blame game is always going to happen after a loss. I'm used to that. I hate it after a win, but after a loss, I understand.

Time to start thinking about the Draft.

You are right, but I'm so sick of having to think about the draft. I want to think about after February once in a while.:p:

So do I.

Right now I am adjusting my time this way.

Super Bowl
Daytona 500
March Madness
The Masters
The Draft (which I would like to attend again this year if at all possible.)

Then the long wait between the Draft and Training Camp where only the mini camps satisfy my apetite. Basically, I feel empty.

Perhaps some of those long drives we put together took its toll on our offensive line. usually its the other team wearing down, but from what I saw, we looked spent up front.

Oh, did I mention Patrick Crayton sucks too?

Well since I don't follow college ball, the draft means little to me.
I got Hockey.:D

It's too early to think about the draft. I plan to spend a few days in Cabo with the wife over my kids' Spring Break. I'll be ready to talk draft after that! ;)

I'm a junkie. I start thinking about the Draft the day after it is over.

I'm grateful you're a junkie. I enjoy learning about draft prospects through your work here at the Zone. I'm looking forward to what you have to say about CBs, RBs, and WRs available in this year's draft!

We stopped running the ball. We became one-dimensional. It made things easy for the Giants. They knew we weren't gonna run so they just attacked.

4 Rushes the last 4 drives.... that's what happened to the OLine. All the aggressiveness we saw in the 1st half that saw MB3 amass 100+yds was taken away by a pass-happy game plan.
