What happened to the screen pass in the Eagles game?

In the Cowboys' first drive, they were methodically moving the ball down the field until they failed to convert the 3rd and 2 on the Eagles' 40 yard line. The offense was clicking because they were taking advantage of the Eagles' blitzes by running the screen pass and running J. Jones past the blitzing defenders.

Why did they get away from this approach? I may be wrong, but I don't recall the Cowboys running another screen pass the rest of the game. In addition, they went mostly to the pass on early downs rather than establish the run. Why did they go away from what was clearly working?

On the redzone drive that the Eagles stopped on 4th down, everyone knew Barber was getting the ball so why not run a play fake to Barber and throw it to Witten in the endzone. Even the announcers were calling for the play action pass given the Eagles focus on Barber. What do the Cowboys do but run it with Barber 3 straight plays!

A lot of the blame has to go on the offensive play callers because they dropped an effective game plan. There should have been at least 10 more screen plays and draw running plays. That would have made the Eagles limit the blitzing quite a bit. It's just really frustrating!!

better yet, just hand the ball to Hoyte and let him punch it in. No way anyone is expecting that. We don't block well enough to run pitches/sweeps, especially in the red zone.

These two things just show how stupid Parcells is. This is what's going through Parcells' mind:

"Mmm, hot dog...oh wait, game's on...ok tony, just hand it off or pass it, whichever, i think you can atleast do that...mmm...hot dog...LINEBACKER!!"
