This would certainly make sense and also explain why everyone involved has been very quiet about it

It might also mean that if he has been properly treated, he might be able to be activated

I think if he were properly treated (assuming this is the issue) he would have been activated by now. I am more leaning on non-compliance with his medications and/or therapy meetings. The sense I got from Jerry quick interview by reporter was that Dallas did everything they could but it just wasn't working out. I think he will be released before Eagles game.

this fanbase bags on everybody the second they think they are the culprits or feel like putting all the blame on them.

we have seen it with many of the good and great ones here.

I still think it sucks the way treated newman, roy Williams, barber and parcells at the end here.

it looks as though many will do this to Ratliff and I bet a lot will do this to ware and I know they will to romo.

I can't put this on the fan base. Ratliff has created this mess himself. I don't think he falls into the same category as those other players.

The DUI mere weeks after Brown's death. Feuding with Jerry. Feuding with the training staff. Refusing to rehab at Valley Ranch.

Ratliff is not a victim. Ratliff is 90% responsible for this situation as far as I'm concerned.

Emmitt was a cancer at the end of his career. He deserved what he brought upon himself. Emmitt is a "me" first kind of guy.

I wouldn't call him "me first" but I think in those last few years in Dallas after Aikman's retirement he cared more about catching Walter Payton, and all the losing didn't seem to phase him.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Rat refusing the team's orders to re-hab under the team's supervision, once the season started. The cowboys may be looking to terminating his contract for not complying to their requests, and recouping some of that salary.

Yes, how does anyone come to these conclusions? We don't know what he has been doing. It's all speculation at this point.

He won't come to ValleyRanch and won't talk. Organization won't talk. Teammates won't talk. Everybody walking on eggshells. It's like they're scared of him.

It's just an injury. Why so much secrecy and tight-roping?

Tafoya shouldn't have did that! That was bad speculation due to what she perceived to be " JJ's body language".

I hope Ratliff can come back and play. If this is about the whole incident with JJ he needs to get over it.

My guess is he doesn't play another down in the NFL. I don't see anyone taking a flyer on him. Question is what are the cap ramifications for releasing him now (injury settlement) or releasing him in the offseason?

Reckless speculation is the norm now.

That's what I mean. He, and Jerry too, wanted that record. As a result, the rest of the team suffered.
