What happened to those guys who said passing the ball = win 41 of 55 392 yards still lose....... So much for that theory.

What was amazing about that game was the time of possession. We dominated with our passing game in time of possession. Very rare. To bad the idiots on defense and special teams did not do their part. We ran 23 times, enough to keep them honest, but pretty infective as far as scoring points. Then there is that fumbling issue Barber has suddenly started having.

I really want to see Choice start.

The reason we lost is because of a special teams breakdown, a defensive

breakdown and a costly fumble. That is the reason we lost, we still had

almost 400 yards, just in passing and had the ball for 38 minutes, 50

seconds. With stats like that we should of won the game. I do not care if

you get the 400 yards and 38 minutes on the ground or in the air. We just

shot ourselves in the foot to many times in this game.

Dallas did not lose because of the play of the offense genius. Watch the game for a change and get a clue to what is going on.

The fact that this thread was even created by the OP says a lot about how his opinions should be regarded.

They lost because of a few idiotic mistakes and breakdowns in execution on defense and special teams, and the Giants made the very most out of those mistakes. It only takes a few errors these days to lose a game, and the Cowboys delivered.

@wraith maybe I'm asking question to figure it out?

Always something. There is always some excuse for losing. Some of us are growing tired of the excuses. We believe we are the superior team and have the most talent yet year after year we manage to blow it.

Oh well.

Excuses, reasons, call it whatever you want, but I think practically everyone on this board is tired of it.

You don't win by passing the ball more often, you win by passing the ball more effectively. The Giants averaged more yards per pass, even when adjusted for Eli's interception. That and the punt return for a TD are why the Giants won.

Whether you pass the ball a lot or a little, you almost always have to pass it more effectively than your opponent in order to win the game.
