Broaddus thinks they can match up Moore with the athletic TEs with Scandrick back.

I'd almost put Scandrick on every athletic TE we face. I'd rather WR's beat us than getting scorched by every Vernon Davis prototype

Yeah. It is.

I dont think hes better than moore. But I havent seen patmon enough to say on him. I just know I didnt like the pick and still dont and he needs to walk after his contract. But itd help him and carr if we had a decent front 7 and fs. He wasnt worth a 3rd and we gave a 1st and a 2nd for him. What a bummer.

Moore and Patmon aren't as good as Claiborne.

Claiborne may be faster but Moore is certainly more physical and a better tackler than Claiborne. I like Moores attitude and aggressiveness. Let Claiborne heal and decide if he really wants to play in the pros.

The better question is what happens to Claiborne now that Scandrick is back?

He'll be targeted for termination. No, seriously nothing will happen to him. He'll be fine, really.

lol...

Everyone is overthinking this. He's the #4 CB. Maybe the use more of a dime role to get a safety off the field, but there shouldn't be much mystery.

That actually wouldn't be bad on passing downs if teams go with three receivers and a tight end. Either sub him in for Wilcox or move Church to one of the two linebacker spots in the nickel. Then you have the four corners, two safeties, a linebacker and four pass rushers on the field.

In the base, I don't think it's a good idea because it takes away from our run defense, but I could see us doing it if we're having the kind of troubles we were the past two Sundays in covering the tight end.

Scandrick's missed two weeks now, Moore may still have a relevant role.

True, plus he's been blitzing quite a bit from the nickel....can't remember Scandrick blitzing that much.

One thing I like about Moore is that this is now his 4th season in the league and he's still only 24. At the very least, he gives us a young veteran presence who can step in if one of the top guys goes down.

So relegated to the bench? Patmon was the 4th corner vs. the Titans and he didn't play one snap.
