What has become the "Bizarro" NFL world - I dont like

I have to say. The 90's really spoiled me.

The Cowboys, a team that would win and win decisively.
Any embarassing losses (ie Thanksgiving vs Miami) is rectified by winning SB that same year.
Thorough thrashings in the SuperBowls(except XXX)

NOW, everything is upside or backwards.

Teams like the Cardinals and the Vikings go the playoffs etc.

The Dallas Cowboys are the perennial losers.
They get embarassed ALOT.
They are chokers.

I have to say, while I will never get used to this... I now expect it.

Good topic.

What i dont like is how winning the division doesnt matter to 2 of the 4 teams anymore. I dont like the 4 divisions format. I feel that a bad team in a horrible division can get in the playoffs while a better team doesnt.
The system of 3 wildcards and 3 division winners made more sense.
Being a wild card team or a divisional winner is almost the same thing these days.(for the lower 2 division winners).


Another thing that has gotten out of hand is the love fest these color commentators will show for a player during a game. The guy with Payton Mannings balls in his mouth during that game made me sick. Payton threw 2 interceptions and he still found a way to worship him. It was gross. And for some reason it was embarrassing to listen to.

Yes I agree ,
But the game has changed tremendously. Rules, and the worst part is free agency I loath it, its parity and a week to week league. We really blew it the year we were 13-3. Think about what the giants did for a moment. on the road Tampa ( no big deal )
Dallas ( we just let the D-line crush us .this is a recurring problem )
beat green bay in the snow missed field goals all over the place
and beat the undefeated Pats with a freak play-that eli was in the grasp and a miraculous catch -The pats did let them hang around

It did fall right for them. But this league is built for surprises and week to week winners its only going to get worse if they introduce a 18-game schedule. Its all about gambling as well, fantasy football, i dont know im just complaining my team is a middle of the road team right now unless we get some real solid drafts we going to be the same every year.
