What has to happen before the league puts a stop to these teams doing crap during warmups to start fights?

This has been happening forever, who has ever got injured from it?
Lots of things that have been happening forever are increasing in frequency and escalating. The point is that the league needs to stop it BEFORE somebody gets injured from it. Not wait until it happens and say "my bad."

The Chargers knew what they were doing when they setup their warmup area on the Cowboys side of the field. They were trying to play head games and it turned ugly which they obviously wanted. They thought they could get in the Cowboys' heads that way.. Well not just the Cowboys because apparently they do it every game.. They know they shouldn't and they just don't care. What if Fowler's right cross lands squarely on Ekelor's jaw and breaks it and he is out several games as a result? And again.. what if some Randy Gregory type completely loses it and goes full Myles Garrett and whacks somebody upside the head with a helmet? Or hell whacks them anywhere with a helmet?
Dear Lord. This is made up fantasy land. They were just warming up by all accounts and we did something stupid. Y'all would be a lot better off seeing our warts and all vs making up scenarios in your head. It's sad. They were on their own 40. They can be out there. Jog around and keep going.

1) They were closer to midfield than the 40.
2) They were on the sideline and actually out of bounds on the Cowboys side of the field. You can clearly see all the Cowboys coaching staff and other personnel on that side.
3) They know exactly which tunnel from which the visiting team emerges for warmups. Would it not be a simple matter to not setup your warmups directly in their path? No one will convince me it's not calculated. But the good news is it worked. It got our defenders pissed off and they took it out on Kellen Moore's offense.. Held them to 10 fewer points and something like 150 fewer yards than they had been averaging right?

Maybe let every team start crap with us before the game. We need Connor Williams back to slug Aaron Donald in the pregame!

Lol, the Big E must have rubbed off on Conner that time.

The 49ers try to do it every week.. now the Chargers have gotten in on it. A few teams are trying that old "let's accidentally stray into the other team's warmup area" trick to mess with their heads now. At some point somebody is going to go full Myles Garrett and yank a helmet off and start swinging it at an opposing player and somebody will be seriously injured. After which everybody will say "Yeah they shouldn't have let that go on so long." It's just a matter of time if it keeps up and the league can easily start handing out six or even seven figure fines to the coaches and team owners if their guys do it and that would be the end of it.

Maybe tennis is a better sport for you to watch. This has been going on for years and years...it just competition and if someone gets hurt because of it, well, mess with the bull you get the horn.

Yes but what you didn't see in the video is that the Chargers DB warm up area had taken up residence on the Cowboys side of the field and that was why the Cowboys had to run through it.
Yep... happened right in front of where I was sitting at the game... totally premeditated

I think fans forget that the NFL is in the entertainment business. A little scuffle is good for business.

I’ve seen this same thing in 1963 and many times after it’s nothing new. You say you played you can’t honestly say your team never got in a pregame shuffle , we had them in HS. It’s just the hype the networks like. The world is really getting soft. By the way from the few videos I’ve seen the Cowboys players started it. No harm no foul. There will be fines if the league feels pregame rules were violated.

League needs to penalize that -- Fowler threw a punch, he should get a big fine or potentially a one-game suspension. Had that happened in the game, it would have been an ejection. Mazi looked like he may have been the one who started the fighting -- at least it got him riled up.
