What I am doing about Goodell

Signing petitions won't get anything done. They know that it would be n unpopular decision to take cap moeny away from the Cowboys and Commanders. So I have decided to take steps of my own.

First, I am boycotting any NFL branded merchandise.

Second, I am cancelling my subscription to NFL network. (This hurts because it is bundled with the Home Shopping Network and I will miss the Smokey Mountain Knife show)

Third, I am starting a writing campaign to my Congresscritters letting them know that the NFL hass violated anti trust laws by colluding to supress players salaries.

Any other ideas?

Did that years ago............I watch the product. That's it. Even that is getting harder and harder to stomach with all the flippin commercials. There's no ebb and flo anymore.

i am also to this point of boycotting something because it was blatant and without vote to single out Commanders and Cowboys. I don't live in communist society so maybe thats why this doesn't sit well with me.

The NFL generates its money thru ticket & memorabilia sales, advertising, TV. I would boycott anything that requires you to pull a penny out of your pocket for any forms of their products.

More people should do what you are doing. I am sick of the way Goodell handles the NFL. I feel with every major change he makes its takes away form what the NFL should be.

The TV deal is signed, sealed, and delivered. They're money is set for 10 years.

In essence, they don't care what you do.

I'm in for #1 and #3....can't do #2 because Saints fan in my household won't go along with it.

The third idea, if enough people did it, and reached major media outlets aside from sports outlets, would probably be the best idea.

The first two ideas won't do anything, because the masses of people that are not Cowboys/Commanders fans don't care, and outnumber the few Cowboys/Commanders fans that DO care enough to get mad and cancel subscriptions over it.

I am giving up the Smokey Mountain Knife show! How much more pain do I need to inflict upon myself?

Besides, they are Saints fans. They are going to get punished worse than the Cowboys, right?

But what if all Cowboys and Commanders fans did it? That is a sizeable number of people equaling millions or dollars.

Lord, I hate being on the same side as the Commanders!

Boycott the sponsers. and make sure they know it.

I've already done 1 and 2 years ago.

We'll see how the most recent CF plays out and maybe #3 will be acted on too.

Best option is writing your congressmen and senators. You KNOW they love getting press and attacking the NFL over this will get them TONS of press.
