I really hope that our next HC, probably announced in the off-season, is someone we can build with for the long-run.
Yes, I'd like Cower, but not if he only wants to coach for 2-3 years, take home $6mm/season (or whatever the going rate is), and then leave.
I'd prefer a younger coach all in all, who is hopefully built for a long coaching career.
The problem is that there are clearly no guarantees that any coach works out, especially a coach with no Head Coaching experience.
But if we get lucky, do our due diligence, we can possibly get a system in place for the long term, like we did with Landry.
