What I hope to see from Henson in NFLE.

Good stats would be nice and so would a winning record but the big things I will hope to see are these.

Good feel for pressure in the pocket. He already looks like he has this in the few games he has played.

Faster drop backs after the snap and cleaner snaps from the center.

Havin a much better feel for when WRs are about to break on their routes. This is a big one. If he gets this down in NFLE it will not take long at all for him in the NFL.

Much faster reads of defenses.

Being able get good at finding to the TE. This is something QBs take a little time to get used to.

Wont matter.

Rohan Davey had a great year in NFLE and still couldnt find a secure job once that Pats released him.

What's your point? Plenty of QBs -- including Jake Delhomme, Kurt Warner, and Brad Johnson -- have had success after stints in the NFLEL.

Point being that Davey was coached by arguably the best coach in the NFL over the past few years and still couldnt retain a job with that team yet alone secure a job with another team.

And Summer. Well, what else do you expect ? I cant let qall of you guys live in a dream world.

Neat! You just repeated what you said before. What's your point?

Some QBs that light up the NFLEL amount to nothing. Others have had success in the NFL. If you're saying Henson can't be successful because Rohan Davey hasn't been, that's about the most illogical, nonsensical conclusion you could possibly draw.

I want to see him look comfortable with pocket presence and the snan and with quick reads like Wolverine said. I also want to see some consistency and a little improvement between games 1-5 and games 6-10.

I'm glad I'll have some football to watch now in the offseason. Can't wait to just see him play.

It will matter if he totaly flops, chances are his time in Dallas is done. If he can't show anything in NFLE how can he hold on to a job in the NFL.

Let's just say Henson's Wonderlic score and Davey's were not similar.

You can't compare players because each one is unique. The only thing that Delhomme and Warner showed is that for certain players the NFLE experience CAN be positive for their careers.

We happen to be Cowboy fans on a Cowboy Board hoping the same thing happens for Henson. I don't expect you, as a Skins fan to agree with us, but I don't understand why you come over here to our board to discuss it.

If Drew washes out and shoots blanks in NFLE, it just means that yet another ill-fated 3rd round draft choice is shot to he11 and wasted. None of us here could feel good about that.
I hope the guy lights it up this spring.

Funny how all NFLE QB DISCUSSIONS have a Warner or Delhomme reference.....

Yet no reference to the other 250 QB scrubs who summarily went away.

It's called hope.

It may be slight hope, but it's certainly as good as staking your hope for the future of the greatest football franchise in history on a former UFA Div II player who hasn't taken a snap in 3 years and believes he doesn't need the playing experience NFLE will provide.

Why reference the scrubs? Everybody knows most NFLE guys don't turn into superstars. But the point is, a player CAN have success after a stint over there. Europe is not a graveyard for players who have no shot, but a training ground for players who could possibly become something.

If you want to bring up the ratio of successes versus failures, the same could be said for college football. Of the hundreds and hundreds of QBs that pass through the college ranks each year, only one or two per season ever amount to anything after graduation. NFLE is on a much smaller scale, so it should surprise nobody that out of the few dozen QBs that get sent over for any given season, only a few get remembered.

Just as every Romo discussion with you does not reference the 1000 UDFA scrubs that did nothing
