1) Said it since preseason and it shows that the offense plays well when Jones and Austin touch the ball often. They provide needed speed and playmaking abilities. Jones is special and Austin is a powerful runner when he gets his hands on the ball.

2) The offensive line is playing poorly led by Adams. Adams and his lazy or slow feet constant penalties are really hurting the offense. Gurode played poorly and wasn't hustling on a couple of plays that could have broke open if he would have got a block. Davis struggles in space but is a beast in the trenches. Kozier is average at best. Free has some potential, I don't know if he can play left tackle or not.

3) Roy Williams is not special. He doesn't separate and for a possession receiver drops too many balls. Ogletree needs to see the field more. They guy has some quicks and can obviously catch the ball.

4) Romo still needs to reign in the improvisation a little. Good to see him scramble for yards when things broke down.

5) Why did Dallas call a timeout after the questionable Crayton catch?

6) Not a big fan of Garrett's play calling this season but he had a good game.

7) What is wrong with Witten? He is not moving well.

8) Brooking looks like he has better reading and reacting skills than James. James is a half step late and sometimes takes bad angles.

9) Jenkins is a stud. Should see many pro bowls. Newman is out of position too often. I can't tell if he isn't getting safety help he expects or is slow on some balls.

10) Ware and Spencer could be the best OLB combo in the league.

11) Ratliff is quick but sometimes takes himself out of running plays

12) Olshansky plays the run very well. Stout and doesn't get pushed back much.

13) Spears disappears too much.

14) Scandrick needs to pull his head out. He has skills but seems to be doing something stupid all the time.

15) Bye bye Folk. You got the yips or something Shankapottamus?

16) Why did they squib kick it with one of the strongest legs in the league kicking off?

This team needs a new coach and with some discipline and accountability could be a serious superbowl contender. With Coach Cupcake they won't beat the elite teams consistently as they make too many costly mistakes.

In the "good" category, I'd add the return yards from our kickoff and punt teams.

good

we were intense, physical and nasty on both sides of the ball. I've been waiting for that especially on defense.

We need to spend at least 3 of our picks on this oline as otherwise tony romo will be wasting his career here - He surely cant do it himself although judging how fired up he was last night, he is gonna try

Adams played good yesterday. He went up against one of the top pass rusher in the league, and yes he had a couple plays where he let him get the best of him but for the most part he was very solid yesterday.

Adams did not play well yesterday. He wasn't bad but he didn't play well. He allowed some pressure had some big penalties as he has done all year. Sometimes I can't tell if he is lazy or his feet are noticeably slower.

His feet are a bit slow, but I still think he did a solid job, you have to consider who he was going against. Had it been the Lions pass rush I would agree with you 100% but will smith is 3rd in the league in sacks this year...

I do like the last couple of lines in your post though, and no matter what happens the rest of I hope Jerry remembers it because I think you are dead on.

I hate to say this because I hate "the guy on the bench" syndrome, but I agree with this. Ogletree has played very well in his limited opportunities. He's good on the screen, and the out route he ran last night was as precise a route as I've seen a Dallas receiver run since Terry Glenn hung up his cleats.

quick question how tall is olgetree?

Listed:at 6' and 192. Good size, good hands and good feet. If he has the right mental makeup and work ethic he could be very good. Need to get him some more experience pronto.

Good:
Phillips and OTree showed good things in small doses.

Bad:
James - ran right out of the hole a few times to allow big gains.

James also missed at least one big tackle. Would not mind if we were able to upgrade at his position in the offseason.

Are you referring to when Witten went down about a yard short of the first?

I think the biggest problem with Adams is that he plays so stiff. He has played that away ever since he had that leg injury some years back.Between the stiffness caused by the injury and him getting long in the tooth there is reason for concern.

I think a left tackle will be a priority in the off season.I don't know that he gets beat out in 2010 but I don't think Flo will be a starter in 2011.

Thats been obvious since the day Jones set foot on the field. He's healthy and they are using him more. Austin's ddevelopment is just amazing. At some point people have to realize whether they liked Jerruh the GM or not, that our scouting department is damn good.

The OL was pretty solid last night, had a couple of breakdowns vs the blitz, otherwise they were pretty good.

3) Roy Williams is not special. He doesn't separate and for a possession receiver drops too many balls. Ogletree needs to see the field more. They guy has some quicks and can obviously catch the ball.

Love Ogletree and think he's gonna be another big hit for us and our scouting dept. But this "Roy Williams doesnt get open" stuff is not true. He doesnt get alot of opportunities, but on alot of plays he is wide open. No excuse for him to drop that key 3rd down pass though.

4) Romo still needs to reign in the improvisation a little. Good to see him scramble for yards when things broke down.

Romo had one bad play/decision all game, dont get this comment at all.

5) Why did Dallas call a timeout after the questionable Crayton catch?

Maybe because they knew it wasnt questionable and they wanted to get some things straight before the next play.

6) Not a big fan of Garrett's play calling this season but he had a good game.

Amazing how different things look when the OL blocks a little better.
7) What is wrong with Witten? He is not moving well.

8) Brooking looks like he has better reading and reacting skills than James. James is a half step late and sometimes takes bad angles.

Brooking got off to a great start the first 9 or 10 games, but he looks like he is running out of gas, I actually thought James played pretty good last night.

9) Jenkins is a stud. Should see many pro bowls. Newman is out of position too often. I can't tell if he isn't getting safety help he expects or is slow on some balls.

Didnt see Newman out of position much last night.

10) Ware and Spencer could be the best OLB combo in the league.

Just having Ware in that equation makes it so. Nobody is close to him.

13) Spears disappears too much.

Spears has been more active than Olshansky has all year.

14) Scandrick needs to pull his head out. He has skills but seems to be doing something stupid all the time.

Still a young guy. Has plenty of time.

15) Bye bye Folk. You got the yips or something Shankapottamus?

I hope we dont release him, would rather see him go on IR and get a chance to recover 100% and compete next yr. He was too good for two yrs.

16) Why did they squib kick it with one of the strongest legs in the league kicking off?

When did they do that?

This team needs a new coach and with some discipline and accountability could be a serious superbowl contender. With Coach Cupcake they won't beat the elite teams consistently as they make too many costly mistakes.

I've been critical of Wade, but this team didnt make any mistakes last night (other than Folks miss, which wasnt a "mistake"). They were ready to play and fought hard. The defense came up huge on that last drive.
