his hands aren't good yet & he commits too soon. Needs to learn better anticipation of DE he is playing (lots of tape study) and be more patient. He is nasty and has good size. Just needs seasoning at new position.

I think Collins begins his stance too low at times as well.

1. Dak is much better QB rolling out of pocket. Not sure how that works long term but for now its needed because Collins is having issue in space on right side or Dak just sees field better without OL in front of him.

2. Byron Jones is CB not S. He is athletic with good length for CB and can deal with taller WRs. Just not physical enough at S. He is avoiding contact when someone with ball is running at him. BTW: I think he can be good CB.

3. Tank is going all out and has dollars signs in his eyes. Dallas should franchise him but I don't see him accepting that. He knows he can't sustain this long term. Still its almost foreign to see one of our DE consistently beating OT.

4. Collins RT & Green LG will get better as season goes on. Does team have patience to see this thru.

5. Switzer is a threat. Needs ball in his hands more. Beasley doesn't look as uncoverable this year.

6. Get Woods going. Heath should be backup player not starter.

Yes. Tank is going all out because it's a contract year. .

You really want to push the lazy angle right now?

You might wait a bit

I saw a coaching staff that was, again, unprepared to start a game. They went with the same standard gameplan hoping it would be enough. Guess what? It wasn't. At least, this game had adjustments at halftime and went to a more friendly Dak offense. They moved him out of the pocket more and good things happened. It seems that it takes an awful lot of bad gameplay to make those adjustments. I would like our coaches to be more proactive and have a plan B ready to fire sooner than later.

I would give Collins more time, he has the ability to be a good RT. We knew it would be a process there.

The defense had its problems but Lawrence and Lewis were not among them. We need better LB and Safety play if they want to be serious contenders. I am satisfied with their overall performance, learning curves and all.

Garrett and Linehan need to start out more aggressive and close out halves that way. Scheme around your opponents weaknesses, not make them stop you using the same predictable plays. Always look for that edge but they do not, or so it seems that way anyways.
If you mean the players starting slow ya I agree and cant figure it out. unprepared to start a game
Show me what you mean

Dak was better tonight, but I have lost a lot if confidence in him. Seems he was better last year, it's early so maybe just a slow start I am hoping. We are no where near what we were on offense last year, but again maybe it's just taking some time to find the groove.

I think much of the problem is maybe they tried to get Dak to be more conventional and they really loaded up his reads etc. It seems that he is much better when allowed to freelance a little more. The defense while not great is more than enough to win as long as the offense takes care of business.
He has played against 3 of the best defenses in the NFL and has 5 TD passes, a rushing TD and only 2 turnovers.

Beasley was not happy about not getting catches. He tweeted out something to that effect with language that is not allowed on this site.
he is back to doing that? wow love the guy on the field, but ....

Let's allow the season to play out a bit. They've faced somewhat of a murderers row of defenses so far - 2 on the road. Things should loosen up a bit going forward.

What I saw was Green needs to work on stunts and his craft. He is making Tyron not play well.

Lewis is going to be a draft steal.

Jones should be a corner. Very similar build to Richard Sherman.

Cannot wait to get Hitch back. Jaylon is not ready. Durant played a lot in the 3-2-6.

See what happens when you feed that man Linny?!?

Dak played well, and for people who said he only makes plays outside of the pocket what the hell did Romo do for that past 10 years out there??
If your left guard needs protection then your whole offense will suffer...running and passing. I was never a fan of moving Collins to RT because I think you absolutely have to be strong in the G-C-G combo. You can scheme around a weaker RT but if your interior line is in disarray it will be much more deleterious to the offense. If Green is the weak link, he will affect the play of both Smith and Frederick.

What was the deal on that pitch to Collins side, where Zeke got stopped for a big loss? It looked like Collins ran backwards into Zeke. He is struggling a bit with the new position.
Keywords: new position:thumbup:.

Have patience.

The difference is the teams he’s facing, IMHO. 13/18 for 183 and 2, plus one on the ground, is pretty darn phenomenal.

Dez held out when Franchised.

From what he's said in previous articles (no I don't have time to dig up links) about his appreciation of the Cowboys for sticking with him, my impression is that Lawrence probably wouldn't hold out.

Again, just a general feeling, but I think this kid is really grateful for what the team gave up to get him in the draft and that they stood by him when he was hurt, suspended, and the fan base was raising noise that he was a bust and we shouldn't have given up the 3rd round pick to go up and get him.

I hope his attitude continues along this trajectory. In this "me first" league, it is refreshing to see!!

And he is right now. Tyron looks like a shell of his former self right now.
