1. The penalties are bad and they need to get that under control.

2. They need to acquire a veteran swing tackle that can be a decent backup.

3. Tyler Smith is going to be very good.

4. Daron Bland is a player. He is moving ahead of Wright and Joseph. I think that Bland and Bell have a chance at being good players.

5. I think that Grier will end up being the backup qb.

6. The rookie running back from Florida has a shot at making the team as the 3rd back.

7. Ferguson looks good as the 2nd tight end.

8. The defense will be very good.

9. They will have to cut or trade 1 good defensive player.

10. Turpin will be a good return man.

11. Gallup looks like he isn't going to miss a lot of time.

I don't ever like lack of discipline...but there is still process involved.

I am interested in actual production from receivers and the offensive line positional groups by the first five games!

Wright has been a Cowboys for 16 months. Give him a chance.

Hill has made plays when healthy and looked good Saturday night. He will make an impact this year.

What kind of impact? If he's a solid back up, that's a win. But he ain't gonna be wrecking OLs.

Because Rush was so bad, I haven't seen a lot of disappointment expressed in the receivers, but I don't think they alleviated any concerns about the position. Tolbert, in particular, wasn't very good. The others get an incomplete, although Fehoko did have the TD catch. Brown and Lamb didn't play, though, so that needs to be kept in mind. I also believe Pollard, who also did not play, is going to be used a lot more at receiver this year, but we'll see if Moore and McCarthy come through on that.

Hill and Watkins are the same type of players. So I'd rather we go with the vet in Watkins. Especially since both of their contracts end this year. So if they don't want to re-sign Hill, they might as well let him go.

But that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I've got some serious concerns with 8. You do realize our starters were licking their wounds from Thursday's practice while the rest of our defensive players were getting b@#$h slapped by Josh Johnson during the first half of Saturday nights game. So, do you have some inside info that none of us know about??????

At the risk of being labeled a “Pom Pom”, I agree with each of your points.

They need to cut there losses with Nashon Wright, Israel Mukuamu, and Trysten Hill.
Wright is going to make the team. He tackles very well. I see him being on special teams.

Trysten Hill might make the team. He has been very good in camp.

Mukuamu might get cut. It looks like Bell makes the team.

I think that Goodwin and or Joseph might get cut. Wright and Bland can be the gunners on special teams.

With the tackling ability we saw against Denver, he for sure can help on special teams.

I think that Parsons might be the best player in the entire league.

The defensive line and the linebackers are improved and they have a solid secondary.

#2 solution is Issac Alaracon

Trysten Hill actually got into the backfield a couple times and disrupted things. Good to get that on film if the Cowboys are looking to trade him.

Also thought Tarel Basham made himself harder to cut and he could make the team over Dante Fowler based off this one preseason game.
