They can do what they've done at every other position, draft someone.Having resigned TWill, I’m not sure what we can do at WR, but if Rico can change me on at TE next year, I’m all for bringing in a 3rd down RB who runs routes like a receiver. No one wants to take our best player off the field, but if we aren’t going to involve him in the passing game as a serious threat, then give him his breaks with a speedy, elusive receiving RB in certain situations.
Romo got us through November usually and had one of the highest QB ratings for December in NFL history. Bluntly the coaching usually failed us and all too often the D did as well.Except when Romo was QB....it was always the dreaded December.
I still want a TE that can block well; these overgrown WRs that so many teams want just do not get it done. They can do what they've done at every other position, draft someone.
TE or WR can be drafted.
TWill won't stop that.
WR should be a heavily mocked position to Dallas with Calvin Ridley as a likely target. Redball loves him some Saban.
At TE in rounds 2 or 3 you have the guy from OU who is a similar receiver to Witten. Catches everything and has great awareness and route-running. Needs to block better. Wisconsin TE is another possible target. And the SCar grown man who played baseball and is like 25 could be a nice r3/4 steal.
We have that in Hanna and Swain.I still want a TE that can block well; these overgrown WRs that so many teams want just do not get it done.
