That would be sweet, I think what I want to see the most is the Oline looking cohesive and the run blocking being better.

But I believe everyone would love to see Roy knock the snot out Bush.

You're dreaming...Bush will leave Roy grabbing air...and that's nothing against Roy. Bush lit it up in his first preseason appearance.

And Roy sure as hell better hope he's not in pass protection against Bush.

I agree that Bush in the open field is not what we or anyone else playing aginst NO wants to see.

I'd like to see Owens take the field by surprise and score 2 TD's. That would be a hoot to read about the next day.

But you know what, I think T-New can lay some wood if he makes it out of the backfield.

That said, I want to see Bledsoe put together a couple of good drives. Doesn't have to be like the 19-play drive Romo put together last week with the help of penalties. Just want to see offense click...

One of Bush's runs was for 44 yards. Other than that, his carries weren't much. The 44 yard run was impressive, but I highly doubt he'll see too many of those come the regular season since he basically got lost in a pile and bounced outside once the Titans defense over committed. I honestly believe that Payton probably didn't praise Bush too much for that run because he'd probably prefer that Bush not try that too often in fear of most of the time you're going to lose yards when you run like that.

This is a good test for Dallas though because Bush plays similarly to Brian Westbrook as he can go from the tailback position and motion out wide like a receiver. Zach Hilton provides a decent TE threat (a position we struggled defending last year) and their DE's are both good pass rushers.

I think if you can catch Bush you can bring him down, I don't see him as a guy who will break a lot of tackles but I think he is a guy who can make a lot of people miss. Stopping backs like Bush or Sanders really requires disciplined play by the defensive unit of not over pursuing and making sure you protect the backside at all times.

That's what they always said about Barry Sanders...

lose yards, lose yards, no gain, lose yards, TD...again and again and again.

NO, Bush is not going to be an Emmitt Smith, but he's going to score and make some long runs and receptions...I'd love to have a guy like that on our team.

I thought the NCG against Texas was very telling where Bush is concerned. I have never been as big a fan of Reggie Bush as most. I think he will be a good player but I don't expect him to be the player that some believe. I don't see him as another Gayle Sayers. I see him as more of an Eric Metcalf type player myself.

I think Bush will be a playmaker I think he has special skills that can't be taught. How he compares to others we will find out over the course of his career.

I actually thought he reminded me of Raghib Ismail when he played at USC. Ismail used to run quite a bit at Notre Dame IIRC, and just create furious mismatches. Bush is a better runner than Ismail and that may cause for some serious mismatches that Ismail couldn't really provide.

I guess we'll see. I'm looking forward to tonights game. I don't expect Bush will ever see better defensive team speed then he will see tonight. I'm looking forward to this evenings game.
