*****Disclaimer: I'm aware Seattle wants a first and I saw Earl's letter to the fans, but I don't buy any of it*****

Now I know I'm no GM, but I'm in win now mode.

Plan A: Trade for Earl (a 3rd and Beasely) and trade up for Roquan

Plan B: Sign Bowman and trade up for Derwin

In round 2, I'm grabbing the best avail WR and or DT.

With either scenario our D is going to become top 5, and I don't think either is THAT hard to pull off. Sure it means giving up some draft stock but 10 rookies aren't making our roster anyway and our window is open with how little we pay Dak to make some moves.

.

Plan B.

Bowman and Derwin would be great and I love Roquan.

Wouldn't mind having Earl Thomas but with his price plus the picks we have to give up is way too much. Not only that he will be closing in on 30. We need to win now but also for the future

I'll trade a 1st for Earl.

This day and age, you don't draft 10 year guys. You get 5 good years. 2 of which are spent learning.

Skip it all and trade for one of the best defensive players in the game. A guy who puts us in contention tomorrow. Who cares about three years from now? Let's worry about 2018

Get a leader and a playmaker who can make this defence more than just tolerable.

I would not do this. I do not think our QB is ready. I think in another year, he might be approaching his window. I would not consider this type of move until we are actually in the window.

That's just my opinion.
