What I would do with Dak now

i would let him play another 8 games before putting white in.

i would give him a chance to play the game his way - with more rpo.

if he breaks, then he breaks.

if he is super-human, then we find out about it.

the very last excuse i have for dak is that we took him out of his comfort zone by protecting him from hits a rpo qb takes.

Bad idea.

Right now, the only thing the Dak Bots have left is the "At least Dak can stay healthy, unlike the previous guy" card.
Please--in the name of mercy--don't take that away from them......

We need to spark the pass game and Dak is not the answer.

Losing is also not a bad thing for this franchise.

i agree on that, but dak as rpo qb adds an additional element to the offense we are not using.
lets find out if that additional element is enough to make the offense hum

Sure, but White is a statue in the pocket. And if we can't pass protect for Dak, it's going to be way worse for White. Basically, the offence won't get better and will probably be way worse.

That said, I'm totally cool with putting in the backup and tanking this year. Nothing would make me happier than seeing Garrett and his boring, conservative, and ancient offence out of here.

Dak won't let go of the ball though.

The Oline has been iffy at times but Dak has to see a guy open and check with himself a time or 2 before he finally decides to throw it.

I'd like to say I'd give Dak just until the bye week, but we don't have an alternative. And this team realistically ins't making the playoffs anyway.

May as well ride with Dak and draft a QB in the offseason.

White isn't ready
you would see many, many turnovers
both from interceptions and from fumbles as he's destroyed holding the ball too long
he needs time (and a real mentor)

I remember with Parcells, he used to have a horn set up on passing drills for The qb's. They would have to throw the ball before the horn went off to the recievers. Anyone that went to camp this year, can you chime in if you saw or did not see a drill like this run for the qb's.

Just wondering if Dak is getting the set your foot and throw/internal clock time training.

Dak is a waste of time here .....the faster we try out White and Rush the faster we know what were doing draft time.....

It's hard to say if the OL is bad is or not. Dak does not get the ball out on time the majority of the time. Of course every QB is going to get sacked and every OL is going to get beat at times. But Dak does this OL no favors. I say let him run it all he wants. If he gets hurt, he just gets hurt. This o is not going to do anything with him as the QB anyway.

We know what we have with Rush and White. That is why Dak will play the rest of the season. I will say this. The difference in the game was Watson out playing Dak. Maybe Jerry will realize Dak is not the answer.
