What I would do with the coaching staff this off-season

Demote Wade to Defensive coordinator.
Keep Garrett as Offensive Coordinator, but bring in some type of old wily offensive guy to show him the ropes, and make him assistant OC and QB coach.
Hire a defensive guru who has fire, and is a leader on and off the field as our Head Coach.

I like Wade as DC, I don't like Garrett as OC.

I think Jerry's vote of confidence was done to not have anything hanging over his HC's head with a meaningful game still in the works. Now with that gone, he has to know this coaching staff is the pits.

But he also has to know that his hiring decisions are poor themselves and he needs someone to manage football operations better than himself.

Don't you think Wade will have a word too in this decission ? Do you really think a HC will stay if you take away his HC position ?
Don't you think a new Head coach will come here and not have him pick his own staff ?
Do you really think Garrett as one of the best paid OCs will let him be stripped like this with bringing in an tutor for him ?

No offense but i am really happy you are not the one who is able to make such decissions for our franchise.

Let's put it this way, if you are a coach and you're hired, would you want your future to be in the hands of people you don't trust? Nope,you'd want to hire your own guys unless you're new and just want the gig.

A great coach will want to hire his own staff.
