What if Alex Barron doesn't hold on that last play...

After looking at this again just now. I really want to kill myself even more. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As noted, Barber was there as well, but the point really is that as soon as he held, NOTHING else mattered. The game ended when he held.

Yes, I agree Barron sucks, but if we flip the situation to where he doesn't hold and Romo ends up getting killed, we hate the guy even more for letting our QB get killed. Either way, he sucks and its obvious Dallas needs to find someone to replace him if Colombo is not ready to go next week.

Dude he didn't have to hold. He stinks and plays lazy, thats why he held. He needed to just get in the way of aragpole. Thats it!!!

He held him from the moment they made contact....his arms went up to his neck immediately....he COULD have pushed him in the chest and forced him outside a little bit, plus Romo is known for how he can evade sacks....it's not like he is a statue back there.

So true. Barron goes for the hold right away. You're 300+ pounds. Just push him back. Even if you only hold him up for a second or two that, Dallas wins.

I think everybody else played well on the line. Maybe he needs to learn to "block" like everybody else. In fact, I don't want him to learn. I want him gone.

Exactly. He can learn to block somewhere else.

Barber was right there to get the block...

Romo still runs and hits Roy for the TD. We get the win and the idiots don't log on tonight (not you, just take a look at some of the threads)

Where is the thread on how solid D.Free played........

Romo was moving, so maybe he avoids the sack. Easy touchdown. This is a heartbreaker. I'm glad I'm off work tomorrow.

I wish I was off work tomorrow. My boss is a Stealer fan and I'm sure he will meet me at the door laughing his *** off.

We had 5 guys to block 3 I think. Not sure how Orakpo ended up 1 on 1 anyway.

That said, it was an awful hold.

Bigg was waiting for Orapko, if Barron would have kept him going inside, Bigg would have hammered him, no penalty, and we'd be rejoicing.

We should not have been in this situation, if that FG would have been good, we'd be kicking the game tying FG in that situation.

If we do a kneel down, we win with one TD. If Garrett had continued running the ball in the 3rd qtr, we might have marched down the field.

This is what is so inexplicable. During the timeout, certainly our coaches must have told the offensive line not to hold, because that would automatically cost us the game. Barron also had Barber behind him to chip Orakpo, just in case. And Barron STILL wrapped up Orakpo right from the snap.

Already been said, but yes we probably win the game.

All Barron had to do was keep pushing Orakpo to the outside...I think most tackles learn how to do that in HS.

I feel bad for Roy, he finally comes through in a big moment and it gets erased in the blink of an eye.

Barron is a weak player who needs to move out of the NFL to a league that suits him - the UFL.

Hasslet is probably laughing his butt off at seeing this clown again - it makes up for the times he cost him in St. Louis.

he will be working at burger king

I am praying he is cut Monday morning.

He didn't even get bit when the hold happened - the hold happened the moment the ball was snapped. It's jawdropping how stupid Barron is.

This guy is a millionaire, folks; think about that the next time you are looking at your credit card bill.

Im just sitting here watching the replay over and over and Barron's first reaction is to put his hands around Orakpo. Utterly disgusted.

Well we don't know what would have happened because the guy didn't even try to block.

Maybe Romo gets hit, but you'd have to believe that this was no blindside rush, Romo would have protected himself.

Maybe Romo steps up, and finds a wide open Williams, Maybe Romo runs it in...

All I know is what did happen was inexcusable... laughing after it happened will get him called out by somebody whether it's a player or some old school Cowboy watching on TV... Barron is going to get bashed all week long in the media as well....

He'll learn quickly if he wants to last on this team, that the expectations are higher here, than on a 1-15 team.

CUT THAT ***** BEFORE HE BOARDS THE PLANE.

This is a pretty silly thread picking out one thing in the game is to why it was won or lost. I mean what if the snap wasn't handled embarrassing horrible by the Commanders on the field goal miss they have 3 more points, and the cowboys don't have a chance to win with that catch at the end. What if.. What if..

too bad there werent former big 12 refs in this game....the hold on Orakpo would have been allowed
