And then takes RGIII? Then the Colts get the number 4 pick plus a pile of draft picks. The Commanders then take Luck of course. The question is whether the Commanders would have made the same trade of draft picks for Luck, or whether they only wanted RGIII because he fits Shannahan's system better. Might be an interesting thing to see.

Can't imagine any scenario under which this would ever take place. The Colts are ALL-IN as far as taking Luck at Number 1, in not just my opinion. It would blow my mind to see anything else happen.

Deadskins would've traded even more for Luck if he was available. They traded up to get RGIII because he was available. Yea he fits Shanahans system but they would make Luck fit if he was available.

Um yeah, Irsay cut Manning, I am sure he'll trade Luck away now. Season ticket holders would be all for it, no problem.:lmao:

If Luck gets seriously injured, unhealthy, or put in jail before the draft then maybe o/w he's the number one pick.

There's always a way. Cleveland throw 4 number one picks at the Colts. The Colts trade the pick. They then trade the number 4 pick back to the rams who select a highly rated wide receiver from Oklahoma state. Using the Ram's number 8 pick they select a certain quarterback from Texas AM. They then bring back Manning to mentor the new quarterback for two years. They now have Manning. Their QB for the next blank number of years. Plus they have Cleveland 22nd pick another high pick from the Ram's and Clevelands number one's for the next two years. This is the NFL anything is possible with enough money (and gonads).

I would rather face RGIII with the Commanders than Luck.

Look, RG's biggest mistake will be to amble into the NFL telling everyone how great he will be. Then reality will hit and the hits will keep coming.

I am not saying RGIII won't be a good QB but it will take time for him to get in synch and adjust to the faster league.
Luck, on the other hand is low key and will be content to learn and take the hits and keep on improving.
There is a different in the two and that is maturity. I see Luck with lots more maturity, and so do the Colts.

Colts want and will get Luck, place your bets on it.

What would be funny is if the Commanders lose their first round pick this year because of bountygate. They'd end up losing 3 #1's and a #2 . :laugh2:

It would never happen, but I'd laugh my *** off if it did.

Trst me the Commanders would be happy with either QB b/c they are sick of having a bad qb every year.Which ever one is there to take at number 2 then we will accept him with open arms.

What is this? That is messed up.

Are you kidding? Luck would have commit double homicide for the Colts not to take him. And then it's a long shot.
