Cowboys would have had a better season than Commodes if they switched coaching staffs, even with the injuries. No doubt in my mind.

Fat Mike and Zimmer are old tread coaches that can't adapt to new age football. They're baby boomers trying to use a computer and AI. Jerry kept the wrong coach, which ked him to keeping Dak
Wouldn't be as much difference as if they switched QBs.

Zero difference. Still not good enough.

Just let me know how many more years it will take for you to realize the problem is bigger than coaching. 40 years? 50?

The Commanders front office worked with Quinn to improve the team. Quinn wouldn't have that benefit in Dallas.

The Green Bay debacle was 90% Quinn's fault, complete defensive meltdown. We would probably only have 5 wins or less with him as HC in this organization.

I do not believe this to be true. The first thing we have to do is honestly evaluate the talent on the Cowboys. Doing so will reveal this over-hyped team is not very good at all, and with the injuries, they are very mediocre.

Do a position analysis. QB? Rush. Mediocre backup. WR: CeeDee is top, but the rest are mid at best. Yesterday, CeeDee was out. RB? Mid. Offensive line? very mid. Who on that offensive line moves people? No one. TE: Ferguson has been a huge disappointment this year. Spann-Ford and Schoonmaker are invisible.

So how many points per game do you expect this bunch to score? It is a marvel if they get to 20.

Now look at the defense. S? Average. CB? Bland is good. Lewis is good, but with 4 DBs injured they are forced to play a guy who is really awful and the Eagles showed just how bad he is. Booth is the 5th backup behind Diggs, Carson, Oruwariye, and Butler. If they CBs are healthy they are actually well above average. But they haven't been. LBs? Kendricks is good, but clearly not what he was. Liufau is young and inexperienced. Another average group. Overshown makes them better but he is injured too. Then there is the defensive line. Osa is decent, maybe even good. Lawson is average. Mazi is below average. Watson and Joseph are below average. Golston has improve but still not very good.

The reality is this roster is not loaded with talent and they do not match up with the top teams in the league. Last year Quinn coached this defense and look what happened against GB. They exploited the weaknesses of the Cowboys and blew them out at home.

Commanders are the same as they always have been. They have a QB that can run or dink to the TE. This will probably be the only season he stays healthy. RG3 repeat. They have a last place schedule and have won games on a hail mary. They have the backing of the league office and referees pushing for a young new star. This isn't sustainable.
