So here's how i see things:

I know it feels like Dak will never reach a Super Bowl, but I say..... it feels like it won't happen until it happens.

Numbers and esteem in the league would say Dak was better regarded than Ryan before the landmark Ryan year.

New coach, new defense, new system, new ideology..... you never know. And if Terrence Steele is the weak link, make a trade mid year.... give a needy team something they want we have more of for a Right Tackle.

Great...... yet another Dak thread from his #1 stalker.

You haven't answered my question whether you would still be stalking Dak if he played for another team
Im not his stalker, and yeah he'd still be Top 5 on half of the teams in the league.

Now you tell me whats wrong with sticking up for my guy even if what's you say is true?

Would you still be his #1 fan and constantly stick up for him (a.k.a. - stalk) if he were wearing an Iggs uniform?

It will mean that they put so much talent around him that he was able to ride that talent like a typical bus driver. Most likely ending when he needs to actually be a difference maker.

He'd be the first QB to EVER to do it in his 11th season, with his original team, after never having done it before. Actually, just getting to the CCG would be a first with those same parameters. So yeah, history says...good luck with that.

Here is the reality between the two:

Career Accolades and Peak
    • Matt Ryan: Won the NFL MVP award in 2016, led the Atlanta Falcons to a Super Bowl appearance, and piled up over 62,000 career passing yards, putting him solidly in the upper tier of his era's passers.
    • Dak Prescott: Has multiple Pro Bowl nods and consistently high efficiency metrics as the starter for the Dallas Cowboys, but he lacks an MVP award or a deep playoff/Super Bowl run.

2-5 playoff record and only making Pro Bowls are defining metrics at this point. If you want to make yourself feel better by hoping the D is better and the RT improving will make a world of difference.......I know you cannot be objective, but the Falcons D in '16 was 27th in pts allowed and 26th in DVOA, not good. I would probably say their OL will be similar, and Ryan had Julio as his WR1, but had nothing close to GP as his 1/2. Until Dak wins an MVP/gets to a Championship, there really is no comparison. I also believe that Super Bowl was the one that the Falcons totally fell apart in the 4th, blowing a massive lead thanks in large part to the anointed HC Guru Kyle Shanahan refusing to kill the clock with a run game

It does not feel that way at all. It feels like will our Defense ever make a Super Bowl.

If we are telling stories lets imagine he has a Tom Brady year.

Like it or not, Dak will get all the praise if it happens. You can take your bad takes to your grave if you want, but most people are gonna say it's Dak's Super Bowl than Jerry's or Cowboys' Super Bowl.

I wish we could stop thinking this is just Dak’s team. The real questions is can the Cowboys get over the hump and have a 2016 Falcons’ season.

The vast majority of this fan base know that Dak ever getting a team to a SB is highly unlikely. Much less winning it. Of course, there will be people like you trying to spin it but folks who understand can't be deceived.

Now if Dak were to actually EARN his accolades, fine. That doesn't mean hitting wide open receivers because he has two #1's. That means threading the needle when the coverage is there & a play has to be made. That means not turning it over. It means doing all the things top level QB's do to elevate everyone around them. Not just riding the coattails of others.

Just stop….a Super Bowl victory is a team achievement not a QB achievement. Sam Darnold isn’t the primary reason Seattle won.
