What if Deshaun Watson ends up in Philly?

Watson shouldn't even be allowed to play all of 2021!

Why isn't he suspended by now?

Why aren't Cowboys fans in an uproar, especially after what Badell did to Zeke and the Cowboys based on the complaints from 1 woman against Zeke back in 2017, compared to over 20 against Deshaun Watson now in 2021?

Watson would have to be suspended. I mean, just the mere accusation was enough for Zeke. Watson has NUMEROUS accusations, and nothing atm? And Watson's case seems a bit stronger. At the very least, Watson should be facing a 6 game suspension.

"Alleged". It's under investigation.

Zeke got suspended 6 months by Badell based on "allegations" from 1 person (which the DA doing the investigation felt there was not enough conclusive evidence for any charges to be brought forward).

Why hasn't Deshaun been suspended yet when he has over 20 allegations from 20+ different women?
Zeke got screwed but I’m not rooting for Watson to also be screwed if there’s no merit behind the allegations

Rumors are the Eagles are interested in Watson and apparently make the most sense on where he will end up. I guess because it's an NFC team and the Eagles need a QB or would want to upgrade.

Watson is a dangerous QB, but honestly I wouldn't mind it.

The Eagles will most likely have to give up a ton of draft capital (which they have). Their team is so incomplete right now on both sides of the ball that even Watson wouldn't make them competitive. So, sure let them trade away 3 1st rounders and a couple of other picks for Watson. They won't be able to rebuild for a couple of more seasons through the draft.

Plus, the Eagles are still in a bad cap situation. They have 12 million in cap space in 2022. Watson's cap hit is $40 million. They'll have to let a couple of players go or restructure deals to only hurt themselves in future years.

Watson would be a 10 million dollar cap hit for 2021 for any team that traded for him. After that he'd be in the mid to high 30s for the next two years. Then it drops again. So really the only tough year Philly might have is 2022. IF the cap spikes in 2023 they should be fine. Then after that his cap hit drops way down again. The question is, when will Watson play again?

Zeke's allegation wasn't sexual misconduct, but instead, a violent assault. There were pictures and evidence that she had gotten attacked by someone around the time that she was seen arguing with Elliot, and she pointed the finger at Elliot as her abuser. The NFL decided to punish Zeke because they would rather punish the innocent, then allow for the guilty to continue playing, and have some new video drop and embarrass them (IE the Rice Effect). Because in the NFL you are guilty until proven innocent beyond a reasonable doubt. (IE The Brady Rule)

Watson is being accused of sexual misconduct in all but one of those causes, were his actions were deemed an assault. But there is no presentable evidence that any of those allegations are true other than some vague messages on Instagram apologizing for making things awkward. The only reason Watson is even being considered for suspension is because of the number of cases, rather than the cases themselves.

That's why the NFL isn't in a rush to suspend him, because unlike Zeke there isn't any evidence that the incidents occurred, let alone that Watson committed the acts.

What happened to "guilty until proven innocent" towards Watson the way it was towards Zeke?

DOUBLE STANDARD

Because the NFL had something it could point at to suggest Guilt. It doesn't have that here, these cases have really been he said she said, the only thing working against Watson is that there are alot of She saids. But not enough to give the NFL the push to mark him guilty. Less of a double standard, and more of murky gray water.
