That goes all the way back to Garrett and Linehan with Romo. Effective offense in regular season, but shut down by good defenses in the playoffs. It’s not really Moore’s playcalling as much as the offense itself.

Perfect post

maybe.
there is no guarantee that mccarthy doesn't want him back.
So wht doesn't McCarthy, in the press conference, say, "yes, Kellen is returning as OC." McCarthy's tone and facial expression says that Kellen Moore is going to be fired in the very near future.......like tomorrow."

maybe he doesn't want the coaches who were not retained to think there is special treatment.
maybe the reason for his tone was to send a message.
everyone will go thru the evaluation process...even the coord.
we know mccarthy has....and will...as well.
so why not kellen also.

If he has unfinished business he needs to leave it for the next guy. There's a saying do it right the first go and you don't have to worry about it again. Moore didn't take being a OC seriously but wanted to play Madden.

I would say based on the tone of Mike McCarthy’s presser today, Kellen Moore’s business in Dallas is finished.
Jerry seemed to sour on him. Do you think it’s because Kellen wanted to play Pollard more at a time when Jerry was saying the offense runs through Zeke? I’m solely guessing but it did seem Jerry changed on Kellen.

I really don’t know what to think when Jerry’s involved. The only thing I do know is no other NFL franchise has an 80 year old GM with a 28 year drought from winning a divisional playoff game.

The only unfinished business Kellen should have is packing his personal items

Maybe it's not just Quinn who feels this way, Kellen may feel the same. What if he sold that to Jerry, I think Jerry's heart melts again and he stays! Please give your thoughts!
Sorry, but Wonder Boy has to go.........................12 points in a playoff game..............get the F out of here!!!

Of course there are always lots of factors....but you cannot deny that Jason Garrett and the Giants were 2nd to last and dead last his 2 years in NY. Daboll comes in...fresh off of developing Josh Allen in Buffalo...and they are playing in the divisional round of the playoffs...and keeping pace in a division that produced 3 playoff teams.

Kellen Moore is done!! It is clear that Jerry is allowing MM to bring his own guys in. Kellen Moore is not a McCarthy guy. He is out of here!
I hope so. He never NEVER should have been a coordinator here but never say never with the old freak show owner.

I still remember the bill of sale we were sold when KM was named OC. He was billed as an offensive genius and his offense was going to take the league by storm.

The truth is that his offense is ok and at times so simplistic, opposing players on a regular basis have been publicly saying they knew what plays were coming.

What if Zach Wilson of the Jets has unfinished business? No one cares. You can only say that if the job you've done is above satisfactory. Or else no one cares.

Kellen needs to either go coach college football or catch on as a QB coach somewhere else in the NFL and build his experience and resume. There may be something there with him, but he needs pay his dues and learn some lessons first. I can’t believe Jerry gave him the keys to the offense with no more experience he had.

Because he saw what the other young coaches in the league was doing and wanted to be a part of the trend

Yup as we see now we have the top offense or scoring offense we are always up there, and when it first happened he was a genius, now he's failing miserably
